After running some final tests, After i had uploaded it :/

i noticed a couple of bugs with the trees.

So i will bring out an update as Soon as Possible.

load objects.ini and it will teleport you to the last spawned object on my map :)

I've just installed the game and it works (there is snow rather than rain) and so is the snow did not lie but to me personally it does not matter the main thing it's snowing and it's fantastic snow finally!

I can not thank you enough IIZACHARIAHII 10/10..........

The map looks good, but do you forgot to precise that the files in "pc/data/effects" and "pc/textures" are not yours ?

These files come from the "GTA IV Realistic Snowfall" you can find hear : http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/gta-iv-realistic-snowfall-v101-f24402

Thank you to precise it in the readme with a link on the mod.

Nik02- Well Spotted,i apologise for that, it was just a matter of forgetting, as i had Hundereds of things to do.

And Just For The Record this mod uses, "GTA IV Realistic Snowfall" by Flash.

I am NOT claiming that any Content By Flash is mine and that "Flash"

Should get the Credit for having an awesome Snow Fall Mod.

Honestly, I think that there are too much of island maps with some stuff in it, but no cities, towns or villages, I think you could improve it if you made some expansion island or just directly put some buildings next to road to form some village or something. I mean It's bad to see that 80 % of maps are just simple islands with road. So IMO you could put some more buildings in the map.

Ok, see what you mean but they would have to be unenterable buildings because of the unlevel ground.

If i make a village and RE-release it as Arctic IV FINAL,what sort of buildings should i use?

I dont mean enterable buildings, I dont know what buildings you may pick, but it would be good just basic houses, it doesnt matter how they look and maybe add some factory model for better atmosphere ;).

About your mod :

Rated 9/10, but if the road texture were a kind of snow/ice, maybe it could be better.

And later, adding houses to make a sort of "village" as you said previously, could be great too (with road crossing the map...)

Fantastic dude. Awesome you keep going. If you keep working on this map, since it's pretty far and not connected with bridge, maybe it would be cool to add little boat docking area. Which you can maybe steal from original game. That way we can use boat to get there and WPL can be spawning some vehicles and boats.

I don't know if it's possible with added map, but i used original maps WPLs to spawn street lights and cars, boats, on added maps. Another words i used for example Brooks WPL and cloned some street lights and cars and dragged them all the way to Clockwork Mountain placed them right on spot. That way they spawn automatically with game without using objects.ini. Just saying in case it will fit your plans.

tall70- Thanks for the idea , i use to import wpl files from original map, but forgot about that, so i will try that out today.

And i'll add a docking area as well, im not sure about connecting a bridge though.

Yavar Ghalichi- Do you know how to put vehicles and peds down, cause if you do then please tell me.This is somethink that will probably not happen, unless anyone else want to try and do it, then by all means do it cause i havent a clue how to.:D

Cars, peds, trees, objects, you can get there same way. They probably could be added in yous map WPL and game will just use it, i would guess. I wasn't sure if that would work, but i knew i can get them there through one of original maps wpl. I usually used collisions map as guide where i want stuff.

becuase the map would make more progress if there where more people working on it and me on my own would probably ruin it, lol.

I'm not sure how this would work by ADDING nodes into yours WPL. Lets say if you want car, you would have to maybe create special node which only works for cars, or if you can just clone any node you already have and give it name of car. I just don't remember this in 3dsmax. I remember clearly that you can clone existing car node of another map, name it to any car you want, or random and simply place it anywhere else on gta4. So if everything else fails and your map is close to industrial, you'll load WPL of near original map, clone some cars, peds and stuff and drag them to your map precisely in spots. I actually tested cloning tower with spinning radar from airport and i had it on Clockwork Mountain map. Worked great. Loads all on it's own.

Kinda hassle since they would have to be replacing wpls in original maps to have it and reverse it with removal.

tall70- i've been doing some "experimenting" with the Paths.img and i think i might be able to place traffic down.

Right i was gonna just tell you about that.

You can also load PATHS file and remove boat traffic from under your map, if it's problem or move boats paths around your map, especially move it or extend it close to your docking area to give you dock activity. I remember removing was tricky, because deleting paths lines and nodes crashed recreating of paths IMG. I had to remove some settings to just make vehicles not to spawn. Which also worked as traffic density control. There are some simple density settings, but it never actually did anything for me. I could eventually send you names of two settings removing traffic from path.

Then depends how much time you willing to give all this, you can like you said create paths for your roads, but it's time consuming to copy you existing road well to make it look good. Again i used targets model collision as template, since it loads faster.

I had problems with intersections too. They never worked for me. Cars just always turn around there, lol. I believe i just cloned them to get them working. But they probbaly don't work, thats why cars turn around there. Maybe, if you clone intersections, you have to somehow connect them, don't know how. If you create them try to recreate all settings original ones have as well. Again don't delete any lines or nodes or you receive errors too.

So i do not realy need intersections on my map then?

what i have done is copied a section of the blue pathspline and placed it around me map.

then i exported it and recieved lots of warnings, Somethink about the Spline has no path properties?

i Ignored it and imported to openiv, ran the game and no traffic on my map.

Try copy some complete circle, so it has all beginnings and ends already. I believe you'll be able to add some nodes to make it the way you need, but you'll have to assign them all. You can select them in bunch and do one type of settings to test it and then find your fast driving settings and all those you want. But keep in mind, if all nodes will be set to spawn, you gonna have traffic hell.

I believe what i done is just keep cloning extending existing dead end path and thats why it worked. But when i tried to connect loop around with intersection i didn't know how and they always turn around there.
