it crashed before the title screen even appeared

rated: nothing because it looks good so its probably my pc

I thought you had quit beaus you were afraid you would be left sitting all your life tweaking ENBs lol! Great job, nonetheless.
Posted on August 7, 2014 11:35PM by Fulcrum
icelaglace: Good to be seen. I don't think the bloom.fx file was actually being used. I couldn't see any difference with or without one. Possibly the code I frankensteined together takes care of all the bloom effects in the main file?

spike: Try the archived version 5.05 and let me know if you still get a crash. If not, then I'll have to take a closer look at some of these new files I'm using.

Fulcrum: Haha... it's true, but I couldn't resist when I found out Dax1 got SSAO working!

It crashed.

I used to use your enb version 5.03.

But this version crashed.

Can you fix problem?

And welcome back btw.

Your enb is the best in this world.

What video card do you have? Try this and let me know what the results are:

1. Uninstall CGE ENB

2. Reinstall using the files only (and not the folders)

3. Test

4. If no crash, install each folder one by one and test each time you install a new folder. When you get to a point where it crashes, let me know which folder install caused the crash.

I have carried out test (step 1,2,3) but It crashed.

Should I just keep use older version? :(

i7 3770k

16gb Ram

Nvidia GTX 680

(Genuine Game CD with social club & window live game.)

First of all, make sure you can run the game with all GTA ENB files uninstalled completely.

Are you able to revert to 5.03/5.05 at that point without a crash?

Try using the latest version without sweetfx.dll. If you still get a crash, try using it without dax.dll.

Does the SSAO still not work on AMD cards?
Posted on August 9, 2014 9:03AM by Phantomic
it's perfect and amazing, better than Icenhancer, Sorry Icelaglace :)
Posted on August 9, 2014 1:57PM by LordiCoyote
Phantomic: I don't know since I've only tested it on my GTX580. It's possible the shaders that made SSAO work only take advantage of NVidia cards. Walk up close to a wall and hit Shift+Enter, find the checkmark for enabling ambient occlusion and toggle it on/off a few times (tricky to do since the mouse movement will also move your camera angle, but if you have a controller attached, you can use that to move it back). Let me know if you see any difference, and if not, what card are you using?

CGE, I can do a custom version of your ENB?

Posted on August 10, 2014 12:26AM by frozenflake
frozenlake: By all means, go for it. Post a link here if you do.

Update: Version 6.01 - Lots of changes. Possible crash fix? Make sure you read the changes to the readme file for information about updating.
Posted on August 11, 2014 6:20AM by chinagreenelvis
Do i need to put in all shaders folders to main directory or just one of my choice?
Posted on August 11, 2014 2:31PM by TheNielegalnY
Copy the entire contents of the ENB Files folder to your GTA installation, unless there are specific files you don't want (like the HD road textures, etc.) You don't *need* every shaders folder since it depends on which drivers you're using, but it's easier to just copy them all and then uninstall them later using the Original Files folder. (It's a good idea to use this folder before installing as well.)

Updated, version 6.02. Had the wrong enbbloom.fx file in the last version. Tweaked adaptation settings and fixed them for each weather preset. Changes to visual presets. Disabled performance costly effects by default (SSAO, detailed shadows, motion blur).

Updated, version 6.03. Huge improvements, visually. Changed a lot of parameters for better balance and color contrast. Edited visual presets. Overhauled weather presets and fixed adaptation across the board. Night brightness can now be adjusted independently of regular game brightness (see readme file). Also got rid of HD road textures because I didn't like them and don't want to force them on other people, either.

↑ Let me know if this solves the problem!
Posted on August 18, 2014 2:02AM by chinagreenelvis
@frozenflake

@CGE

I give up!!

It also doesn't work for me. :(

Posted on August 22, 2014 1:14AM by garsia42
Sorry, garsia42. I'm sure the problem lies with the shaders I added. If you were familiar with each ENB file and how they function, I'd ask you to try to figure out where the problem is, but that's probably too complicated. You'll just have to stick with 5.03 otherwise, which isn't all that much different, to be honest.

can you please make a separate mod for those awesome looking advertisements/billboards
Posted on September 3, 2014 2:47AM by vc2846
vc2846: That's not a mod. Those are the in-game graphics.
