This archive contains two directories, "common" and "pc", which are optimized by replacing the original directories.

This assembly can add to you 5-10 FPS, maybe more. Replaces: common, pc folders; commandline.txt if does

State what the package "does" not the effect it creates ~ creates +5-10 FPS...
HOW does it create 5-10 FPS? Without degradating graphical quality. Should be an interesting explaination if it's not total bullshit. Just sayin.

I'd answered what does this mod do before, anyway, posting again from prev. versions:
Some functions have been rewritten and rewritten to be as long as I continue to create this pack. Also, I deleted all the interline gaps in dynamic file (ie, that loaded in the game, the same people or vehitsles). Rounded all the values, eg 0.00 = 0, 1.010 = 1.01.
All this reduces the load on the CPU and RAM. A graphics card just in GTA 4 is not too important.
Just optimizing values for more performance, see: 0.00000000000000000 = 19 bytes, every byte = 0.125 bit. For now i7 is the best processor for a price, so this processor can run about 512 bit every second without performanceless... 0.125*19 = 2.375 bits on ONE VALUE! so 0.00000000000000000 = 0 okay? this is better, 1 byte, 0.125 bit, it will work FASTER IN 19 TIMES! My EDGE works like that.. GTA4 code is very dirty at all, thats why game lagg, so Im just reoptimizing, NEVER GRAPHICS WILL OPTIMIZE GAME, forgot about it, with EDGE I can run my game really smoothly with: iCEnhancer 1.35 (fixed ofcourse), all MAXED OUT, but shadows MED, without, I cant play on all MED, without ice. Think widely: why should I work without any performance?

1) Install v2.4 [r1];
2) Extract EDGE folder from EDGE v2.3 archive;
3) Find common/data/fragments folder, copy it;
4) Paste it to common/data/ at your game folder.... waiting for reply
One issue: the popcycle.dat is completely messed up. Half the pedestrians are security peds now. Had to use the original popcyc
Work is in the progress. We know that popcycle is broken :) So we will fix it in v2.5. Btw thx for help :)
