Gostown 6 is a huge island with a city in sum, forests, beaches,
Others island, which is why the mods called Paradise Gostown 6 .
this mod aims in convertire Gostown 6 on RAGE engine, improvements are well expected forecasted,
new building, new place, new island, all with a level of detail very close to GTAIV.

-remove your savegames
-delete "hotel" folder [ pc /data/maps/gp/gostown6/HERE]
-remove the comandline.txt [on root of your gtaIV ]

This is the best custom map on this site.
For me it works good, it's an awsome work!
But somewhere there is a little waterfall and when I go near it crash my game :s
Advise : Set more peds on the island ! On the beach and around the buildings ...Also maybe in the forest and such!
More car and more action in the island .

Camelot55: this mod replaced the whole city, so if u can't "find" it, then u haven't installed the mod, so u should srsly try again until u've installed it.
to the Gostown team: this map is really awesome, damn funny to drive around with my 240Z in it:P i give it a 10/10.
i tho found some problem. at some places (mostly on the top of the mountain) there's stretched textures (which means the mapping ain't perfect). in the tunnel in the mountain u see some white lines on the wall, floor and "top", which is caused by the polys isn't close enough to each other
Bug report: I am running on a clean install of GTA 4 1.0.4.0 and I have consistant crashes when I am near the large waterfall on the map.

This is an excellent beta, I do agree with others however, it would be interesting to see it as an additional island to the origional LC.
8-10 keep up the good work, (at least until GTA V) :)
Besides, other mods originally worked with my game have also been removed or replaced, even the scripthook.dll.......WTH...Are you kiding me? Though it deleted all the mods I've put in my game, I just keep crashing after installing the map..........Even if I pressed the uninstall.exe...
I'm not willing to offend anyone, just wanna tell others to be careful.....

GTA IV or EFLC?
Replaces Liberty City or not?

1. this doesn't put an island on the ocean, it replaces the whole city with this mod of very questionable quality, so ONLY INSTALL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE NYC AND GTAIV AGAIN!!! It cannot be changed back!!!
2. There are no instructions for the installation (just a wall of bragging and credits), which is why it is very likely that the install will fail and make your game unplayable like it did to me and many many others.
3. All loading screens and music are replaced (with much worse ones)
4. There is a 90% you will only get to the loading screen and then the game will crash, and that's it for your gta.
So, for these obvious reasons I must rate this mod with a 1. Sorry, but 3 years of making the game perfect wiped out with a single shitty mod in 5 seconds... that's just too much
GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Out of video memory - Please reboot your sYstem.
PLEASE HELP ME! HOW TO FIX THIS!
1) Every time I pause and then resume, the map disappears.
2) Every time I press F2 to save the clip, the map disappears.
3) There are objects that don't render.
You intention for this mod or not ?

and for the sky i thing he reach the limit on gta4 the next beta support eflc.
I have tried it with a fresh install of GTA IV too, completely unmodded, but still no luck. Perhaps my computer is just to terrible to run this mod, or something has gone wrong here that can be fixed. Any solutions to this? Map looks brilliant, would be great to give it a go. :D
