Please explain why you're reporting this file:


- Compatible with Steam & GTAIV ONLINE.
- No red sky bug or bright cut-scenes.
- SSAO & Skylighting & GodRays fully working.
- Includes low-pc version too.

Compatible with:

Episodes from Liberty City

- not tested on old patches (single-player is boring :P)

What's new?

- Latest ENB 0.163.
- Updated to latest Dax1 shader.
- GodRays effect thanks to Dax1.
- Increased draw distance.
- New clouds.
- Better reflections.
- Sun improved and better color.
- New bloom GTAV style.
- Better performance.
- Other changes.


Drop the files to your EFLC main folder (where the .exe is placed)

GODRAYS and DOF effects are disabled by default.

Just open enbeffect.fx with your notepad and remove the // simbols placed before the effect, for example by default looks like this (disabled):

//#define GODRAYS
//#define DEPTH_OF_FIELD

Now, in order to be enabled should looks like this:

#define GODRAYS

I do notice however, it does, on certain angles, black out the sky or flicker with lightrays. Any suggestions? Still, 10/10

Would this also work if I'd install this over the files of the iCE 2.0N version?

Or would there be a chance that it would just mess up the whole game? Or does it not matter at all which iCE-version I have installed?

Oh, and I use it on patch 4 by the way, since that's the only one it supports. But apparently you use the same iCE-version on a newer patch?... Strange...

@DLer, never saw that before, can you send me a screenshot or something?

@Damage Inc, this ENB is optimized for EFLC, didn't tested since I only play online (single player is boring).

To install you can just drop the files over the original 2.0N, and if you are not happy with it you can reverse in the same way (just delete the additional files).

Its not "strange" I made 2.0N compatible with EFLC by fixing the timecyc and enabling the effects that don't work on orignal iCEnhancer by using Dax1 fix.

I got it, I will update the timecyc and Dax1 shader, in the mean time try it:

open the shader A9A0DD8A.txt

and replace this:

def c69, 0, 0, 1, 0 // CloudsIntensity

for this:

def c69, 1, 1, 1, 1 // CloudsIntensity

Only minor issue I found was near the golf range. The parking lot next to it seems to have changed textures. I have a screenshot, will upload later:

One other thing, I noticed it gives me a black screen after loading the game initially for a few moments, before cutting back in to the save location for the first time. Any ideas?

DLer thats due to the bump shader, stock textures looks ugly with it... you can just disable it or replace with DKT70 textures (if that particular part is modded)

Also, is there a way to have better draw distance? Mine is set to 100 but even with a high spec computer I see lower resolution textures in the distance.

Oh yeah, still the same issue I completely fogot, sorry about that, I'll update again...

I decreased view distance in timecyc (farclp) for better performance, original was 3000/2500 and mine is 2200/1500, find these values in timecyc or FarClp in EditIV (may be I have to increase it in next update too...)

More testing reveals:

Strange kind of bug where textures "float" above the ground, like road paint when you look at the tires. Also in the last one where you can see a gunshot through the front window follows through to the back and all around the car. Hope I'm not coming across as a nuisance, but an avid fan who wants to help make a flawless mod!

-Updated to ENB 0.163

-Updated to latest Dax1 shader

-Changed skylighting settings (because of new ENB)

-Back to the original Ice's bloom

-Softer and better quality godrays

-Increased view distance (farclp) - may be decrease performance

@cp1dell, I don't know what is the problem, is working fine for me but I remember people who reported that in enb forums, better ask Boris in his forum, he said nobody is interested in this old game anymore so I don't know if he will update enb for gta4 since there is almost no gta4/eflc users in his forum...

I get decent FPS with this. (25 minimum, 40 maximum, about 30 average)

God rays and dof turned off 'cuz they take away like 3-5 fps each.

One question though, during rainy weather, why does the rain come and go in 1-second intervals? Like, rain-1sec-no rain-1sec-rain. And also, I get frequent freezes that lasts only a millisecond but annoys me so much.

*! This enb is good. Either my GTAIV is * up, or GTAIV is more poorly optimized than EFLC. Because I get 30-50fps on EFLC! And no stuttering, unlike GTAIV. Good job! One thing though, is there motion blur at all? Is there none at all or is it just weak cause I'm not seeing it.

@brunodrl94, thats anamorphic lensflare not a bug

open enbbloom.fx with your notepad and find this:

float fIntensity = 0.5;

and set it to 0, now should looks like this:

float fIntensity = 0;


sorry for the lack of updates but I've been working in a new ENB for Los Santos mod, now with decent godrays (finally) and proper performance...

So when ViIV gets compatibility with EFLC and I can test will be released :)

buzzz, I've been using your set lately for screening the alpha ViIV. Yaw-dropping sweet! Normally I play using various sets using

Really hope you change the timecycle to a Los Santos 'warm & sunny' setting?

I am having a strange bug though in With many cars the windshields are not visible! Only sometimes they are there for a few minutes. Is this a bug in my scripthook or other script? I'm really clueless here...

Sorry for late reply I think you already know but thats known as speedhack bug (Boris is already aware about this issue..)

I was making the ENB for IV:LS team and now I'm continuing in my own for ViIV mod, if you are interested I've ported main colors from GTA5 timecyc and made some "proper" godrays (finally) with almost no performance drop and smooth looking, ... whatever, is made from scratch and have nothing in common with this "ENBuzz"

I know is not a huge update sorry about that, but I've been working in a new ENB for Los Santos map, I have ported most colors from GTAV timecyc and I'm doing my best to improve performance (will be better than this "ENBuzz" for sure), can't say much more by now, I will just upload here when is finish.

Thanks for the update!

Is the Los Santos ENB going to be a separate mod? It'd be much better since those colors and the atmosphere suit V's map. This ENB and most of the other presets suit Liberty City's east coast setting.

@ReNNie, I've been working for Los Santos ENB from long time now, it was for IV:LS team first project.
