NextGen ENB 3

by XModHunterX
Please explain why you're reporting this file:

NextGen ENB 3 is released!

The previous two versions were not released on this site because of the... well, not so polite community. But now I'll give it a try, see if I have to disable the comments.

So, about the mod: I aimed to make a balanced, gameplay-friendly ENB that doesn't need an extreme super powerful PC to run.

I won't write down much more: see the video and the screenshots and decide if you like it or like it.

NOTICE: The mod has a few 'extras' for powerful PCs. The screenshots were taken with those extras INSTALLED while the trailer was made WITHOUT them installed.

You'll only download a txt file containing a download link now. The mod is too big to be uploaded here.

Found some bugs? Leave a comment or mail me!

Have fun playing! Don't forget to RATE!

You're the * here. Some people don't know how to install these mods, so he was kind enough to add an installer. Go cry some more.

I downloaded it, it came without extension. It says in mediafire it supposed to be ZIP, so you add .zip and unpack it and it's all there for manual placement. No exe installer.

On video night is too dark, but on screens it looks great. Ultimately it will all depend on monitor settings too.

I just bought my first LCD with led backlighting, lol, i know, first. Greatly disappointed. Yes i do get finally 16:9, but flat LCDs still can't do black and contrast, not it all. Not even close to spotless GTA4 night environments on standard CRT monitors. I'm keeping it, just because it's better then 3 years ago, but it will take them much more time to match CRTs.

@oxrevealxo thanks! :)

@links64 there is no installer. You download a txt file placed into a zip and find a dl link. That leads to the mod that is manually installed. (And as I mentioned in the description: so many impolite people on this site rating bad without even knowing anything about the mod.

@tall70 I think nights are this dark - but of course it's just my taste. CRT displays are way better than the new LCD ones, I own a cheap 1080p TN Samsung and I like it but the old one was better in my opinion in terms of colours. In resolution it's an other world though...

@DayL You can give it a try but I don't really think so.

^^ Ohh yes i miss CRT quality big time. Friend of mine would sell me for little 21"CRT again, but it's just giant and 4:3 ofcourse, so i guess i'm not doing it. And i like the nights, i like them dark, just on video it render out darker.

@ DayL, You must have 2.67 dual core, if you running W7/64bit. And i run any enb on my dual core, with 7 extra maps, traffic script, and some added and swapped cars with all maxed settings except view/detail distance, both in 50%. I'm not using no heavy dof thou and yes it's very poor fps. But it runs alright.

Judging from video the night is WAY too dark. This is New York we're talking about. It doesn't get dark like that all...

This is not the final version, might make it a little brighter. I didn't like the 'grey' night in many other ENBs so I decided to make it darker like in reality. Maybe it's a little too dark now.
