Looks great, but there are three major issues.

1: Black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

2: Game blurs occasionally, with and without moving.

3: Near the statue of happiness there are floating textures.

Point 1 and 2 can be fixed with a tutorial, because i don't have any idea how. Point however, with the floating textures, i don't know what causes this.

@ShenLong Kazama

Maybe this can help to fix floating textures.

Just add this in your commandline.txt:

-novblank

-availablevidmem 4.0

This can help to fix issues 1 & 2:

Game crashes due to this ENB

FATAL ERROR: Invalid resource detected

It works fine when I configure with to work with iCEnhancer 3.0
Posted on August 17, 2014 12:56AM by CallMeJayy
@frozenflake

Thanks, it worked. However, i think the DOF is too much/not needed. And unfortunately i found another issue, a minor one though. Some textures, in this case the goggles have that weird pattern. And the thing at the corners is the dirt lens i guess?

how to fix pls?
Posted on August 17, 2014 4:19AM by lolaya
@lolaya What exactly happens? Do you get a certain error message? And you obviously need patch 1.0.4.0, xliveless and scripthook for the patch.
Posted on August 17, 2014 4:52AM by ShenLong Kazama
I have patch 1.0.4.0 and xliveless scripthook

Downloaded NT ENB v2(1.04)and copy all files (Main files(主体 偏高配)in my game

Start LaunchGTAIV.exe and black screen

but crash in desk manger
Posted on August 17, 2014 5:56AM by lolaya
Do you run the game as administrator? And try to use a shortcut of LaunchGTAIV.exe
Posted on August 17, 2014 7:24AM by ShenLong Kazama
@ShenLong Kazama

Which one DoF setting you are using Option 1 or Option 2?

To reduce DOF, change this:

DOFAmount = 0.20;

to

DOFAmount = 0.5;
Posted on August 17, 2014 8:01AM by frozenflake
Try use original R* shaders. That was my problem with ice/enbs it would crash with supplied shaders, but originals would work.

Yes, the thing at the corners is the dirt lens :)
Posted on August 18, 2014 7:29PM by frozenflake
I had no trubble to get it working.

I love the effects on the car. How the paint shines and the plastic on the carlamps shine really nice too.

With just the files from folder "Main Files" I give it 5/10.

Too much blur. Just insane...

With the file from folder "DOF" installed I give it a much better rating. I need more hours to play Before I decide. But maybe I give it a try. I will type more after Ive played more and installed a trainer etc.

This ENB is really beutiful...BUT i have 15 - 20 FPS. My computer specs is

Intel Core i5

Nvidia GTX660 2gb

RAM 32gb

Soooooo...With other Enb's, I have 40 - 60.Is it my computer or the bad optimization? Please help!
Posted on August 22, 2014 6:02AM by StickyBomb
Ive tried it some now. WOW! 10/10 for sure. But I had to install the DOF file to get this awsome Graphics (from folder DOF)! =)
Posted on August 22, 2014 4:11PM by MRZ999
One question. The reflexions in the glas window of the car have to many pixels for my taste. Do you guys Think there is any way for me or you to fix this (maybe next version) ?

Ty for a nice mod!
Posted on August 23, 2014 7:10AM by MRZ999
@MRZ999

Fix for window glass:

[CARWINDOWGLASS]

ReflectionAmount=2

SpecularPower=90

SpecularAmount=1.5

OpacityMultiplier=0.08
Posted on August 23, 2014 12:36PM by frozenflake
If still have many reflections reduce the value "2" from ReflectionAmount to "0.8"
Posted on August 23, 2014 12:41PM by frozenflake
Hi Frozenflake and thanks for reply, means alot!

what file do you want me to edit? I searched in a few, but could not find the lines to edit.

Just to save time if you did not understand my bad English. I understand it's hard to understand what I really mean. So here is a pic. On this car you can see the that the reflaction is so many pixels. Very anying I Think. Most of the time its hard to see, but sometimes its very easy to see the pixels. Would be great if the contour of the graphic reflexion would be better. :)

I play in 1920* and Everything is on MAX graphic. Got some texture mods installed too.

Posted on August 23, 2014 5:35PM by MRZ999
@MRZ999

Do not worry, I got it what meant you. I understand any bad English :D

[CARWINDOWGLASS] is a section which is in "enbseries.ini" file. And is responsible by the reflection in the glass window of the cars.

Posted on August 24, 2014 1:24PM by frozenflake
Another question, how can i reduce the noise, because i think that's the thing which shows these weird dots on glasses etc. And is there a way to remove the dark corners? And how can i edit the DOF settings so that the clouds are not blurry, to be more precise, reducing the DOF almost to zero.
Posted on August 25, 2014 11:12AM by ShenLong Kazama
@ShenLong Kazama

The noise effect always was disabled.

Now the game doesn't at all, the screen flickers briefly and then nothing.

Nope, still doesn't start up.
Posted on August 26, 2014 6:09PM by ShenLong Kazama
I think the problem is the SMAA. I must have deleted something more.

Delete the SMAA and SweetFX files and place the new SweetFX v1.5:

Nope, an error message pops up, the game starts up though. However, ingame the shaders are going ape-s***. Lol f***.
Posted on August 27, 2014 2:37PM by ShenLong Kazama
Can you be more specific about the error? Any screenshot from error?
Posted on August 27, 2014 6:23PM by frozenflake
Frozenflake, is it not possible for you to copy gta to Another folder and try the game and see if it start? I will be back tomorrow. Must goto work.
Posted on August 28, 2014 2:18AM by MRZ999
Cant get it to work. Cant you just have a Clean install and try it? Will save alot of time since its hard for you to change things everytime i tell what is wrong. I work everyday so can only type once a day. Sorry for this!

Love the ENB anyway. The best! =)

@MRZ999

In my case I would first install the ENB in a clean game, and then put other mods in game.

In your case I suggest you delete the following files to get it to work again:

SweetFX folder

d3d9.fx

dxgi.dll

dxgi.fx

injector.ini

sweetfx.dll

SweetFX_preset.txt

SweetFX_settings.txt
Posted on August 30, 2014 5:28PM by frozenflake
@ShenLong Kazama

This error is related to SweetFX, then it is not so bad.

Open "enbseries.ini" and see if it is so, if yes, ok:

EnableProxyLibrary=true

InitProxyFunctions=true

ProxyLibrary=sweetfx.dll

Leave it like this inside of SweetFX_settings.txt:

// external_d3d9_wrapper = none

// external_dxgi_wrapper = none

Did you like from my DIRTY LENS TEXTURE inspired on Crysis? :D
Posted on August 30, 2014 6:15PM by frozenflake
No error message anymore, but the game immediately crashes. :/
Posted on August 30, 2014 7:51PM by ShenLong Kazama
Delete SweetFX.dll and play. ;)
Posted on August 30, 2014 9:05PM by frozenflake
Possible Crash Cause: a feature from SMAA, enabled and tweaked by me, that allows to better preserve texture and to improve performance.
Posted on August 30, 2014 9:21PM by frozenflake
@Frozenflake

I have a backup so no problems to play with this enb. Installed it in a fresh install too. I have no problems with it, but just that the replections could look better sometimes. :)

So if I like to install your update. Now I see you have done some Changes etc. Is there a new file I can download just to give your latest update one more chance?
Posted on August 31, 2014 2:29AM by MRZ999
@frozenflake

The game starts but ingame it still looks like this:

@MRZ999

Yeah, wait a minute.
Posted on August 31, 2014 1:27PM by frozenflake
@ShenLong Kazama

If you are finding very bright (whitened), open "enbeffect.fx" and reduce the value "1.2" to "0.9" in EBrightnessV1:

Like this:

float EBrightnessV1=1.2;

to

float EBrightnessV1=0.9;

Posted on August 31, 2014 1:48PM by frozenflake
@MRZ999

Yeah man, you can have this update using my patch made with a lot of changes.

Download:

https://mega.co.nz/#!yJlHQQ7I!7EO3ybbzqmdEtGJUdyI8CmldQIeR5JpL8nRjk8WrHXs

This patch no have SMAA anti-aliasing, SweetFX or my commandline.txt file.

Posted on August 31, 2014 3:00PM by MRZ999
does anyone know what ambient light correction is? because I have noticed that building windows blink at night when I look around, I wonder if that's what's causing this?
Posted on August 31, 2014 5:15PM by valentinbiguine
the light in the windows to be specific, blink whenever I look around, its driving me crazy, very distracting

Posted on August 31, 2014 5:19PM by valentinbiguine
also its only the buildings that are far away
Posted on August 31, 2014 5:28PM by valentinbiguine
@frozenflake

Nope, still foggy and strange. And i edited the screenshot a bit so that you can see that weird hexagon-thing pattern.

http://imgbox.com/UxdBvQVx

@valentinbiguine

Like this?

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTU9Sbv2GxvEHt_JkfZq8DUsvUNfEKxmz_3hAGF6QMXdCYkCjGN

If yes, open "enbseries.ini" and reduce the value of "WindowLightIntensity", see below:

[BUILDING]

WindowLightIntensity=1.6

to

[BUILDING]

WindowLightIntensity=1.0
Posted on September 1, 2014 9:04AM by frozenflake
@ShenLong Kazama

Dude, there's nothing strange, this "weird hexagon thing" actually is my texture for DIRTY LENS effect.

-laugh-

See below what is DIRTY LENS:

https://www.google.co.uk/#q=dirty+lens+effect

Go to out with Claude and look at the sun, then you see that this effect is not so bad. :D
Posted on September 1, 2014 9:26AM by frozenflake
But the screen is still that milky fog. You can see that by comparing the pictures i posted at the beginning and the newer ones.
Posted on September 1, 2014 11:28AM by ShenLong Kazama
Hi Frozenflake! The cars looks awsome and the road to when it rains! =)

I also got the hexagon. It feels like Crysis 3, hehe. :) Also the screen is milky when its sunshine and thats not good at all. Guess ShenLong having the same problem.

Frozen, your ENB update to this ENB will make THE ONE ENB if you get it working. I love this, just want the graphic like it was Before and not milky! =)

Posted on September 1, 2014 2:01PM by MRZ999
@MRZ999

That good to know =) Any screen of "milky"?
Posted on September 1, 2014 2:20PM by frozenflake
To FrozenFlake:

thank you very much for your reply, I have one last question to bother you with, I have noticed also that the textures of billboards, graffiti, and some facades of buildings flicker in the distance whenever I look around ( about 200 feet out and beyond ) how can I fix that? both view and detail are at 100 and the anisotropic is at 16 in the enbseries. should I force it to 32 or 64?

also some shadows of trees do tat, its only when I look around, not when I stand still, they flicker... VERY DISTRACTING, DRIVING ME CRAZY...

THANK YOU AND SORRY TO BOTHER YOU WITH THIS NEWBIE STUFF.

@valentinbiguine

I don't feel bothered, I taste help the people with ENB related issues. =)

Reduce the Detail to 90 and shadow quality.

Try this, maybe help to fix flickering textures.

Just add this in your commandline.txt:

-novblank

-availablevidmem 4.0

-forcer2vb

If have any problem or improves in game, can reply here.

Posted on September 1, 2014 6:15PM by frozenflake
To FrozenFlake:

thank you for your reply, I tried the commandline but unfortunately it had no effect.

her are my original commands: let me know if they are good:

-norestrictions

-nomemrestrict

-availablevidmem=2.2

-percentvidmem=100

I have a Geforce GTX 780 TI so I thought availablevidmem=2.2 was the best choice no? is it possible to force the anisotropic level to 32 or 64 in the enbseries.in? would that not fix it? or am I missing the problem all together
Posted on September 1, 2014 6:37PM by valentinbiguine
@frozenflake

It's still looking weird: http://imgbox.com/U4EcCeE4

How it looked at the beginning: http://imgbox.com/BRAndvhb

The only problems at the beginning were the weird patterns on curtains and other things, the DOF blur and the black bars. Now it's actually worse unfortunately. :/
Posted on September 1, 2014 7:31PM by ShenLong Kazama
My game also looks like this on Extra Sonny: http://imgbox.com/U4EcCeE4

It feels kinda blury and foggy.
Posted on September 1, 2014 11:12PM by MRZ999
@valentinbiguine

You are making a mistake by using '-norestrictions' and '-nomemrestrict'

Explanation:

-novblank - disable wait for vblank (can get 5+ fps, if disabled)

-norestrictions - do not limit graphics setting

-nomemrestrict - disable the memory restrictions

-availablevidmem - percentage of available video memory

-percentvidmem - percentage of video memory to make available

-forcer2vb - force the ATI R2VB technique, this improve the game physics like NVIDIA PhysX

Understand more about commandline parameters here:

http://gtaforums.com/topic/410894-new-hidden-commands-from-gta-iv/

http://gtaforums.com/topic/382923-how-to-use-command-line-parameters/

Don't use -nomemrestrict, but can use -percentvidmem & -availablevidmem together.

Try guy:

-novblank

-availablevidmem 3.0

-percentvidmem 100

ShenLong, if you don't like dirty lens effect, just delete "enbpalette.bmp", and then the "hexagon blue thing"is going to disappear.

MRZ999,I'm glad you liked my Crysis 3 dirty lens texture, I have more textures (my favorite is 3D CryFibril). =)

If you wish to try other files with much other cool effects, you can ask to me by email. =)

TO FROZENFLAKE:

thank you for your help, I will take out the commands that you mentioned and leave the three in that you suggested.lets hope it will remove the texture flickering, well at least I should better performance... I will get back to you ASAP
Posted on September 2, 2014 1:02PM by valentinbiguine
ok something strange happened, all the graphics got pushed all the way down and the view distance will no longer allow me to turn it up, if I try it automatically goes back down.
Posted on September 2, 2014 1:16PM by valentinbiguine
To Valentin Biguine:

Just add "-norestrictions" again.
Posted on September 3, 2014 5:55PM by frozenflake
yes I figured that out, so now we are back where we started, fricking flickering textures!! well we tried anyway...

thank you very much for trying to help me frozenflake.
Posted on September 3, 2014 7:53PM by valentinbiguine
Valentin,

Usually GTA IV texture problem as "flickering" or "floating" are related to the use excessive of mods that resulting in high usage of RAM.

What are others mods do you use?

How is in-game graphics settings?

What else are you using the commandline?

Your game runs at how many fps?

What are your PC specs?

Your GPU drivers are updated?

Nvidia SLI feature is disabled?

Posted on September 3, 2014 10:23PM by frozenflake
Valentin, try this:

-novblank

-novsync

-noprecache

-norestrictions

-nomemrestrict

-disableimposters

-frameLimit 0

-availablevidmem 1.1 (also try values as: 1.5, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0)

-percentvidmem 100

-detailquality 80

-viewdistance 60

If the command "-availablevidmem" does not work, so try adding "="

like this:

-availablevidmem=1.1

Posted on September 3, 2014 11:59PM by frozenflake
Did not get it working like I wanted, but thanks anyway for the hard work frozenflake! Ill play with the ENB in the topic!

@MRZ999, ShenLong Kazama, Valentin Biguine:

I will not just give up to help you guys. This all time the error was in my front and I did not realize. Finally I got to find out where it comes from the "foggy", "milky", "milky fog" problem that comes from "enbeffect.fx" on "float EBrightnessV1;".

I made a mistake at reduce the default value (2.2) from EBrightnessV1 which is actually Gamma Correction and not a standard Brightness Correction and the result is the foggy bright screen.

TRY NOW GUYS:

I have tried al the commands but it seems that the original setup I had is giving me the best performance, I have one last question for you I was trying out an ENB called " Advanced Graphics V1 " and it feels preety good but for some reason there no shadows anymore. I am not sure if it is because of my PC or his set up but in any case its absolutely unrealistic, where can I go to make sure that the shadows are turned on?

thank you for all your help.

Have you tried my last download above? As I said, the error was by change the default value of EBrightnessV1 (Gamma Correction).

TO FROZENFLAKE:

hahahah you have the answer to everything don't you? well we will see about that ;-)

I have one for you, my favorite ENB is ENB5k by vucko but unfortunately there is this weird whitish filter that I never was able to take off, if you look at his images you will see what I mean, everything looks like there is a weird grainy whitish filter over the camera " I HATE THAT " what is that? how do I turn that off?

you know the answer to that one? huh?...;-)

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP FROZEN!!!

To Valentin Biguine:

This will probably end with "whitish filter", that I also hate.

1 - Open "icebloom.fx" and change this value:

float BloomRadius3 = 50;

float BloomRadius4 = 80;

float MixFactor = 1.0;

To such:

float BloomRadius3 = 64;

float BloomRadius4 = 128;

float MixFactor = 0.3;

2 - Open "iceshader.fx" and change this value:

float BloomAmountMix = 1.75;

To such:

float BloomAmountMix = 1.0;

3 - Open "iceconfig.ini" and change this values:

[BLOOM]

Radius1=20

Radius2=10

Contrast=0.7

[ADAPTATION]

AdaptationMin=0.30

AdaptationMax=0.6

To such:

[BLOOM]

Radius1=10

Radius2=20

Contrast=1.0

[ADAPTATION]

AdaptationMin=0.25

AdaptationMax=2.0

-------------------------------

Suggestion (for 1.0.7.0):

I think you would have a awesome ENB, if uses the ENB by Vucko 5K + enbbloom.fx, enbeffect.fx, dax.dll, DX9Settings.ini & ShaderOverDax1 from Advanced Graphics V1.

TO FROZENFLAKE:

OK THANKK GOD FOR YOUR HELP, THE WHITE FILTER IS GONE!!!

however something strange is happening now the clouds and weather colors have changed, the clouds are completely different looking now. is there no way to have the same color of sky and the same looking clouds without this bothersome white filter?

is it possible to grab clouds from another ENB and just put them in this ENB? is that possible?
Posted on September 6, 2014 3:19PM by valentinbiguine
To Valentin Biguine:

You have a screenshot from sky?
Posted on September 7, 2014 1:37AM by frozenflake
To Valentin Biguine:

Yes. Just copy the enbclouds.fx, enbclouds.bmp and all Cloudy values from [SKY] section of my enbseries.ini in the fix patch:

https://mega.co.nz/#!TFcBUKJY!a0n2aU0rufPL1ESv1Z2aPHEu651kOdA-kfqBbZwkRmk

Then you'll have my clouds =)

I will download it now and install everything to test yours out ;-)

Posted on September 8, 2014 3:39PM by valentinbiguine
can I just put the three SMAA option from the anti aliasing folder? or must everything be put together?

I want to test each options separately to see what fits my PC best
Posted on September 8, 2014 3:44PM by valentinbiguine
I am noticing something strange, the sky in your ENB and some others that I have tried is INTENSLY bright.. the sky is so bright I cannot even see the clouds, as if the bloom is completely overwhelming.

not sure how to fix this, the worst is in sunny and sunny-windy weather, its INTENSELY BRIGHT...
Posted on September 8, 2014 3:52PM by valentinbiguine
If you want to test only SMAA option without the Sharpen shader,

just put all files from anti-aliasing folder, less the file Sharpen.h.

The sky INTENSLY bright is not a great problem.

Open enbseries.ini and change this values:

[BLOOM]

Radius1=10.0

Radius2=20.0

To this:

[BLOOM]

Radius1=2.0

Radius2=4.0

What ENB mod are you using is the ENB Vucko 5K, NT-ENB v2, Advanced Graphics V1 or my ENB (requires NT-ENB v2 installed)?
Posted on September 8, 2014 7:56PM by frozenflake
I am using yours, to test it out..
Posted on September 8, 2014 10:58PM by valentinbiguine
ok ok yours is definitely part of the good ones, no questions..,

I tested it out a bit but I see a similar problem that my rig is having with your ENB and some others " performance issue ". I am never quite sure why but some ENB do not marry well with my rig.

the best performance I ever had was with an ENB called LIBERTY ENB, it plays 60fps constantly, could never figure out why. I had a major problem with this ENB though for some insane reason the author decided that the drizzle and rain effect would get way to bright so at nights you will have a good atmospheric brightness but then if it starts to rain then the brightness goes ridiculously high and it looks almost as if it is daytime, I don't know what went through his mind when he did this, but it ruined it for me.

is there a way to adjust the brightness of the rain and drizzle ONLY?

Related to my Fix Patch/ENB:

You used SMAA? You have fixed the sky bright?

---

You can control Saturation & Contrast from my Fix Patch/ENB in "effect.txt":

float CurveAmount=0.35; - Contrast control

float VibranceAmount=0.15; - Saturation control

---

Ok, you tested and see a "performance issue", I can solve this, improve performance, but have a nice look?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Related to Rain/Drizzle brightness issue:

Yes, there is a way that is reduce specific values of the two weathers (Rain/Drizzle) in timecyc.
Posted on September 9, 2014 8:30PM by frozenflake
yes I tried SMAA and it helps with the performance strangely since it suppose to be the contrary because it demands more from the PC.

no what you suggested did not fix the overbright sky, I had to reintroduce a different set of shaders and that eliminated the problem ( Common/Shaders )

hmm I looked in the timecyc and it looks like an incredibly difficult algorithm, I tried copy and pasting from lightning's commands but it did not change the rain and drizzle brightness... :-(
Posted on September 9, 2014 9:41PM by valentinbiguine
About SMAA, I did not expect this because I activated the SMAA Predication feature that says "allows to better preserve details and texture to improve performance". Not understand why it demands more from your PC.

I suggested this to fix the overwhelming bloom and not overbirght sky. The fix to this really is uses a different set of shaders, but also are the shaders that cause the white/red sky bugs.

Yes, is a incredibly difficult algorithm for those who still do not understand. To facilitate, use the TimecycIV or IVNeedle tools and look for a timecyc editing tutorial.

THANK YOU I WILL LOOK AT THOSE TOOLS AND SEE IF I CAN LEARN TO TWEAK THE VALUES, THANK YOU FOR ALL YUR HELP.
Posted on September 10, 2014 12:43PM by valentinbiguine
Thanks man =)

I want to try fix this issue. But of which ENB is this timecyc?
Posted on September 10, 2014 3:30PM by frozenflake
the overbright sky seems to come from yours and the ones like yours, I don't know why but replacing them with a set of shaders that are darker eliminates the problem. I am sure you know why, but me no idea... heheheh...

and the over bright drizzle and rain comes from an ENB called LIBERTY ENB, its the best performance I ever had and the graphic configuration is very pretty with the god rays and good all around weather schemes but the drizzle and rain at night are just inexplicably bright, what the * was he thinking!!??

let me know what you think Frozen when you test it out its very pretty, there is a lot of potential there... you and I seem to have similar taste you should like this ENB ;-)

let me know and again thanks for everything.

Related to ENB by Vucko 5K:

Then you picked up my clouds to Vucko 5K?

---

Related to LibertyENB:

Yes, also as Advanced Graphics V1, the LibertyENB have a lot of potential and is highly customizable that is great for beginners. =)

I will go try fix this issue, I reply soon.

TO FROZENFLAKE:

I tried to take the 5 timecyc files in PC/DATA from many different ENBs but nothing changes. this LIBERTY ENB is good but I cannot figure out what to do to fix the fact that rain and drizzle and lightning is just way too bright.

yes I took your clouds and put them in LIBERTY ENB, I prefer your clouds then the others I have seen.

let me know if you figure out what to do about this LIBERTY ENB problem, and let me know if I can do something for you as well.

To Valentin Biguine:

Hey man, I remember, the problem is caused by the DAX1 FIX PATCH that give for us Godrays/SSAO in EFLC/1.0.7.0 ENB.

DAX1 has not yet found a solution to this problem caused by your fix.

Delete Dax.dll, but I think you will have no more Godrays & SSAO.

Show me screen from your game with my clouds =)

I'm downloading and will install later the GTA IV [1.0.4.0] on the PC of my friend =)

PC specs:

Core i3

GeForce GT430

4GB RAM

TO FROZENFLAKE:

I have a stupid question to ask you or anyone who knows the answer to this, is adding music to my user folder ( Independence FM ) affecting the performance of the game? basically if I add many songs will it affect the performance?

sorry but I always had a doubt, it seems as though when you add a lot of songs the game is never quite the same, or am I paranoid?
Posted on September 17, 2014 5:35PM by valentinbiguine
Use imgur.com to upload pics and place the link here.

Frankly I do not know the answer to that. Take a test, stay tuned to see if there is any difference in fps with and without the songs you added.
Posted on September 18, 2014 10:33PM by frozenflake
thank you frozen, I will check out the site and try to attach pics here so you can see your clouds on the ENB setup I have.

I have a question, what command is responsible for making my weapons look light grey? most of my weapons are black but when I put these types of ENBs they become a really light shade of grey, do you know where I can adjust that? is it a contrast problem?

thank you for your help.
Posted on October 10, 2014 1:15PM by valentinbiguine
I don't know, maybe it's the shaders that causes this problem or not?
