Realistic car physics and speed

Please explain why you're reporting this file:

Hey Everyone,

This is my car physics and speed mod. It changes the speed vehicles drive in, the handling cars have, and the amount of deformation a car can get.

No idea how to install?
Read the Readme/instructions file.

For people willing to know what kind of blood mod I am using, It can be downloaded here:

Too much deformation for you?
Try this one which has been optimized for better driving experience. Your car will not break
as fast, but does show increased deformation. Replaces: handling.dat

Did you base this on another handling or did you just adjust the amount of damage cars take and the speed of them in the default handling? Also, I like it but could you maybe make it so that the cars dont get that easily damage like sometimes when I drive in a fast car over some hill-top thing and then land softly with the front hitting the ground first, then the car gets all bended over. Would be cool to be able to drive a little crazy without damaging your car instantly. Other than that, great :)

Looks like a Coke in Can.

@ Kocayine:

The speed has been edited too in the Handling.dat, also some vehicle weights, health, damage it can take. Thanks for the comments, I will definatly upload other/new handling, or any other dats I edit in my game directory, if they are fun to play that is.

Just now, here;

Yes, cars get damaged quickly, but I think thats mainly in the front where the motor is because if it didn't get deform then the passagers would get even more damaged. But on the side of the vehicles, they shouldn't be QUITE as likely to deform as on the front and back... nor on the roof.

Still a nice handling, but yes, maybe if you could make it a bit less likely to deform when you dont really crash and just hit the ground from doing a stunt or something. The cars bend a bit too easy.

@ Kocayine:

I am currently trying to optimize the deformation, will post results later.

Updated with alternative Handling.dat, this one gains vehicle damage on a lower rate but the deformation remains. You should try this if you think your car breaks too fast after a bump or crash.

I think things would get way too sensitive with this.

Sometimes things already break really easily, especially when you're being chased by cops.

After you finished for all mission of the game this is very fun and enjoy for this mod. but before and during mission especialy for chasing someone by the car is very hard..example on the vlad mission. the last scene you have to chase him. how fast what you did he still moving forward cause the scene must be execute vlad on the seaside you can kill vlad in the vehicle. i was failed to avoid that crash vehicle cause the speed is impossible of vlad driven..cause my car to easy bend and stuck of the wheel dammage cause to real dammage lol...but still great mod :)

I understand your comment, thanks for pointing it out. The way I did it to just chase it, and not try to approach the targets vehicle too close. If you accelarate, the target will too, meaning it will ALWAYS be ahead of you. Its best to not go accelarating at him, but just tail him until he gets to his destination. Either way I still had to do missions more then once to make it, but i think its just a bit more difficult this way.
