RealityIV is a timecycle mod for GTAIV/EFLC.
No ENB is required, only a full GTAIV installation and any patch from 3 - 7/EFLC patches.
Included in this mod are edited shaders by me, including patched shaders for DoF or no DoF, dpending on preference, and 2 timecyc files for DoF/No DoF.
All files required are included in the archive.
Lastly, any feedback most welcome.
In 1.62 is Adaptation for Sunny, and Extra Sunny 2, along with a custom Skydome for my clouds.

Fonia5 noticed in testing that Extra Sunny is a bit dark, if anyone else also agrees post your thoughts here and I'll look into it.
The Adaptation only works in Sunny, and Extra Sunny 2 from 6am - 8pm. To test this, set your trainer to something like 9am and don't lock the time, allow the time to count up - and drive around in first-person view for maximum effect. Sunny is the extreme adaptation, and Extra Sunny 2 is more subtle.

Feedback most welcome, they are early beta trees, so expect things not yet finished.
I do all my modding in patch 3, and my testing in patch 7, so I know they both work fine.
Also, if you see extreme dark and bright on Sunny and Extra Sunny 2, then this is exactly what adaptation is, it self-adjusts the light depending on the area you are in.
Go back to the 1.62 visualsettings.dat and look for this line
# Lod distances for vehicles
Change the values underneath that line to look like this.
# Lod distances for vehicles
car.lod.distance.high 20.00
car.lod.distance.low 80.00
Now try that and see how you get on.

Run the game with the filecheckfix.asi in your gtaiv folder then try it.
I don't see why it wouldn't run, this is just a timecycle mod which should look and run the same across all patches and DLC including EFLC.
No, only for Sunny adaptation, not patch dependant. It will eventually be toned down, it's extreme just for this test.
Other than that, I cannot see any timecyc bugs, everything works as I intended.
There will be another patch, I will probably make Extra Sunny a adaptation weather, but subtle and more like Extra Sunny 2. And also work more on indoors. For now, please test the Museum in the Central Park area, see if you like it, it will still have some small pocket areas where the light still changes, but it's better than what it was.
For now, I am back working on the ENB version of this. I have adaptation working in ENB 0.82 now, and it looks nice. A video will be put up on Youtube later in the week.

Need just Anti aliasing ( i run under 1.0.4). I will try 1.0.7 if i can but i'm affraid my computer not resist ! lol.

Crom, if you have a modern ATI card, 5xxx or 6xxx card, try using MLAA on GTAIV. It might work well, and it might not, but worth a try.
It has has one side effect of raising my fps - cool :D
1. IE 9 beta installed, not sure if this still occurs with the release version. Uninstalling IE 9 worked for me.
2. Using the wrong shaders on the wrong patch, always use default, or patched default, don't mix various patches.
3. Missing files from a bad install or upgrade.
I would either reinstall then try again, or remove Reality completely, install required patch, test game to make sure it works, then install ONLY the timecyc.dat from this mod and test. If it works then install the visualsettings.dat and test. If it still works then the skydome and the timecyclemodifiers.
Process of elimination until it works.
So with the 1.0.4 the P touch is Much finer and the game turn at ~35 fps.

Well first thing that I have to say is that you are doing an amazing job on this one, seriously.
Secondly, those trees are great.
Thirdly, sunny seems too bright for me. Anyway I was thinking there is a lot of stuff on the internet regardless of the DOF.. But could you tell me what exactly DOF does here and if it is better to use DOF/No DOF version on HD3870 GC? I mean, if you could respond like you would respond to a big newbie, cause that's what I am. Haha, thanks man.
DoF means the far background gets blurred while the foreground remains sharp, it's a graphic-only effect that you wouldn't see in real life. It's designed to give depth, so the eye concentrates on the main foreground.
There is no performance difference to use it or not, only user preference. You switch it on and off ingame while playing by pressing the "P" key. Some like it, some hate it, I personally don't like it but offer it for those that do.

I'm running version 1.0.0.7 and RealityIV is the only graphical mod I'm using, got the right contrast, brightness and saturation set as well.
So, to anyone getting non-transparent glasses just go back to the shaders marked STOCK, using your correct patch version.
I will fix this properly in 1.63.

Process of elimination until you find the problem. To me, it looks a bit like shaders. I tested this on patch 7 retail DVD, and it worked as well as patch 3.
Perfect, except one thing: brightness when sun hits buildings, cars and people. It's simply too bright!
What line can you edit in the Timecycle to fix this? Thx :-)
Hey untri, nice to see you here.
Working on 1.7 as I speak.
v1.7 will now look even closer to ENB, still not close enough imo, and will now use external shaders such as HDR, MPC sharpener, FXAA, bleach bypass, etc..
There will be no more bright problems, all white objects no longer lose definition and blacks are no longer crushed due to lack of HDR.
The lighting as had a huge overhaul, looking so much better and natural than before.
Release should be 2 weeks, roughly, just need to finish converting 1.62 settings to the newer 1.7 sets.
without ENB it goes smooth on Geforce but when i add ENB it runs on Intel HD 128 like shit.... help me !

But one thing bothers me, many interiors are REALLY dark inside ( e.g. the bank)
during the daytime. It's nothing major, but it's kind of annoying.
Turning up the brightness doesn't help, is there any way to fix this properly?
