I'm rather surprised no one has uploaded it here, since gta4-mods seems to be the stronger and much more user friendly modding community, and Sersorroza's work is incredible -- I actually stumbled upon that Batmobile through YouTube. Of course, I went in and tweaked the handling.dat so it runs like the Infernus and is practically indestructable. He he, it's fun...

@ToxicGuy_BR: Well thanks. Seriously, this is my first mod ever. It was insanely simple, but I appreciate the vote of confidence.

I do want to emphasize that I had absolutely NOTHING to do with the Batman skin or the Batmobile -- those were made by far more capable modders than myself (KBL and Sersorroza, respectively). I was just tired of all the silly, cartoonish, and decidedly inappropriate-to-Batman phone themes that were available. I had originally planned on using the old 1989 movie symbol, but decided that the modern Dark Knight logo was a much better fit for Liberty City.

I think next I might try my hand at something a little more comlex, perhaps further enhancing the Dark Knight feel to GTA4 -- in anticipation of Arkham City, of course. :)

I too grabbed the batmobile and was surprised it never surfaced here. I did find it a little heavy handed to control so i'm glad you addressed that. Its nice when you can plough through traffic though. Built like a tank.

One quick note. H1Vltg3 was the creator of both the batman model and the cape (used for his superman mod). I simply retextured them and combined them to good effect. But I'm glad you enjoy it as I still do. Thank you for your kind words regardless.

@SonicIsKool: Are you serious? If you don't like Batman, then why the hell would you even bother downloading a Batman-related mod? Oh wait, I bet you didn't even download it! You're one of those schmucks who rates mods without even trying the damn thing out, aren't you?

This goes for everyone: If you rate a mod, perhaps you should rate it within context of what it actually is and does, or attempts to do anyway, and not based on what you want or expect. Yes, this is a very very very simple mod that a 5-year old child could do in their sleep. If you're not going to download, or use it, or do anything even remotely constructive with it, then please do not bother wasting my time with rating or commenting on it. Thank you. Have a nice day.

Anyway, I have no idea. Did you rebuild the archive? It works for me just fine, and my instructions in the description are exactly what I did. I use OpenIV -- I only mentioned Spark because others swear it works, but I've never tried it. This replaces the Whizz theme, so make sure that's what you select on the phone's options. Other than that, not a clue.

(Note: By simply changing the number at the end of the word "private" in the file name, you can change which theme it replaces.)

Hello,everybody I'am french and I love GTA serie....right now I have 2 wish.....the first is that one of the creator,anyone,or everyone CREATE the BATWING from BATMAN 1989,the PLANE from ALIENS (Alien 2)and from the same movie the STRANGE CAR where all the space marine are in when they make there way to rescue the colons....and finally the complete weapons and sounds fx of ALIENS(Alien 2)-DUKE NUKEM:land of the babes,STAR WARS......and my second wish is that everyone go to see my video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KqkflZSRq4 and rate,because I'm desesperate that almost no-one saw my video that I created for everyone...it's a tribute of GTA4/GTA EFLC and it took me 1 year to created it because I travel trought some countries since and I couldn't finished it before. shotgun-SOUNDFX.mp3 to shotgun-SOUNDFX.wav(codec=PCM,chanel=2/0 stereo,16BIT,22050Hz)...after this manipulation,you'll be able to load/add ANY sound fx in the world you want,ANY!!!
