@MRVone he is only converting he is not modeling them.

use vertex mode or polygon to edit the model in 3ds max with GIMS.

-Open SparkIV and locate pc/models/cdimages/

-Double click playerped.rpf

-replace

hair_000_u.wdr\hair_001_u.wdr\hair_002_u.wdr\hair_diff_000_a_uni.wtd\hair_diff_001_a_uni.wtd\hair_diff_002_a_uni.wtd\head_000_r.wdr\head_diff_000_a_whi.wtd

-click save, and play

I actually figured it out just after i posted that... only took me two tries, lol. Had the wrong playerped.rpf file the first time. :P
