first of all, you have to do this

be sure you have this version of scripthook

(it is a net script mod, so you have to have an asi loader and the scripthook net to use this)

download and install this mod:

now, copy the "tommy.img" of this mod to grand theft auto IV/pc/data/player, then ingame press f6 to spawn the face, IT WILL NOT REPLACE NIKOS HEAD MODEL

it has little bugs i'll fix later, you can complement it with this mod:

when you change clothes, nikos head appears again, just hit f6 again and thats it!

Can someone explain how to get it to work? I followed the instruction and put everything in the proper folder. I couldn't find a scripts folder, so I created one in the GTAIV Root folder, and put the dll file in there. Yet, when I press the hotkeys, nothin is happening.

Using ScriptHook, XLiveless. It was included automatically in Simple Native Trainer. Dunno if I need ASILoader when I have Xliveless

Edit*+ also, I am using patch 1.0.7.0 but doubt it matters! I have also disabled the trainer before trying to use the hotkeys, but no luck.

the scripthook.asi should come with the script folder, search for that version, making up the folder wont make it work

when you install the mod i told you to install, you create a player folder with that directory, thats it

oh im sorry, well i just made a mod for a mod if you would like to call it that way, i really dont know to make scripts, and im not publishing his mod on the file, i just made an img file replacing the original tommy and thats it, and for the rigg name..yeah, i think you're rigt but people will understand what i mean with the title (the fact of rip a model from another game).

Have resently reinstalled gta because of an error but now the hole game is fucked up. I can still mod cars and skins models and so on. But I´ve noticed that I can´t get rollys hud and menu color to work and the laguna seca racetrack either. But my biggest problem is that I can´t spawn added cars from the trainer, it jsut says "invailed model" but actually it´s no problem at all with the files. And then I think I can´t install new scripts, don´t know what to do. Had this problem earlier to but then I fixed it, the worst is that I can´t remember how I did it. And now I´m fucked. Plz give me any adwise if you know something. I´m runing gta v.1.0.4.0 in admin mode.

I don´t want to use that one. I have mods that ain´t compatible with that version, and the game have worked fine on v.1.0.4.0 just need to find the problem. Had a problem yesterday and that was just because of a car who was saved on one of nikos parking lots. It did crashes the whole game.

I have read all the instructions & I have framework 4 but my GTA 4 are patched to 1.0.4.0, I'm not gonna install Patch 1.0.7.0 bcause some of my mods doesn't work on 1.0.7.0

Ok, I know my problem with gta is that gta doesn´t use my new files like handling.dat, vehicles.ide, carcols.dat hud.dat, hudcols.dat and some more files like these. So why doesn´t gta use the new ones when I overwrited the old ones with these. The game keep on using the old ones that shouldn´t exist after I have overwrited them. That also effects the added car spawning and the wrong hud color and maybe the laguna seca problem to. Do you know what the problem can be, any suggestions?

it gives me a msvcr100.dll missing error when I start up the game, when I press OK it launches the game and than after loading the screen freezes and crashes. Apperantly the cause is the dsound.dll (ASI loader), but I never had a problem with it, only after installing this mod. What's up with that? I'm running 1.0.4.0v

I solved my prob, I didn´t have the xlie.dll file thats all. Then it worked.

It crashes, apperently, because of the ASI loader, when there is no loader present the game runs smoothly but the mod won't work.

i had the same problem, look up for asi loader crashes forums and topics, im preety sure i saw one that has the answer...oh, and if you want to change nikos voice, try to be patient, search for an voice actor and take all the day recording perfect mouth animation matches with all the nikos sound bank

I didn't find anything, only questions regarding the problem that I have without any answers. I'm trying to patch the game to 1.0.7.0, hopefully it'll work.

'Aight, good news: IT WORKS, apperantly xliveless or the scripthook have compatibillity issues with the old versions.

Anyway, now that I got to enjoy the game, here are some bugs:

-The head is transparent when it is infront of lights (i.e. spotlights, car lights etc...)

-The head doesn't appear inside a car (like the hat bug)

I think that's it.

yeah..i said there are some bugs, but they dont belong to me...like i said, i dont do net scripts, the head models is fine, i cant do much more, think this mod as one of the first real plaer mods out there, they come with a lot of bugs :)

It works for me now, but it stops working if you first add the face and remove it and add it again, then it says error in text script something. I have v.1.0.7.0 now and it´s much better than v.1.0.4.0, all my mods works just fine or even better.

Had some problems with the gta.dat and image.txt files, because I have laguna seca that uses them too so I just changed them.

I´m having one more problem, not because of this mod. When I get chased by police the game stops working after a couple of minutes. Do you know what the problem can be, haven't checked if some of the police cars or some of the cops them self that doesn't work, I will do that.

Anyway great mod 10/10

The game works all day if I want it too. The problem that the game stops working only happens if you use the trainer way too much and like all the time, otherwise it's flawlessly.

Your mod does never crashes the game and thats nice. The mod only stops working like I said before.

After I install your mod, strange shits happens. All the weapon pickups in LC become some strange shits like some plane. Its very annoying, can u fix it?
