GTAIV mod by metalwars
Flashlight 4 Weapons v2.0 for GTAIV & EFLC

New Features:
- Real flashlight spot, like alan wake flashlight
- New lasersight for weapons (light_2)
- You can change the key, weapon light, light model & light position in FlashLight.ini
- You cannot use a flashlight & lasersight simultaneously on one weapon

Default Light Weapons:
-Desert Eagle (FlashLight)
-Baretta (Flashlight)
-MP5 (LaserSight)
-M4 (LaserSight)

Installation:
1. Recommended use OpenIV latest version
2. Open GTAIV/pc/models/cdimages/weapons.img, add new files "light_1.wdr & light_2.wdr" into weapons.img
3. Copy "FlashLight.asi" & "FlashLight.ini" into GTAIV Directory
4. Enjoy!!!
5. Turn on-off light key = Caps Lock (default)

Epic 10/10 but i use FlashLight.asi mod in MP TDM and it does bug controll other players respawn and that becomes anoying... someone can fix that?

Hey MetalWars i have a request if u can convert the mod EQ GunKatas 3.0 from the game MaxPayne 2 to IV there is epic maps and skins and also seams realy like the movie Equilibrium...

Hey man, got your message.

I wrote this so far:

For the pistols, machine guns, assault rifles, and shotguns i have it just about ready to set up for a toggle between your flashlight or your laser sight. Did you want the Sniper Rifles? I assume so, i'd have to spend some time finding the proper coords for the placement of the laser and flashlight though. This is a complete rewrite from my original flashlight script and has no bodyguards; it will also be a .net script. I also found what i was doing wrong my bodyguard script (as far as stability goes) so this one should be a strong foundation. Do you just want me to send you the source when i'm done?

@motorsport71: good, would be better you make a script like bodyguard with light. You can use this mod if you like to make better script.

@XFA27: directional light not support in GTA 4.

Is there anyway to change the light from desert eagle to the regular glock? When I put in 8 as the weapon number it doesn't work.

@metalwars GREAT MODDDDD 10/10 but 1 strange thing happen to mine after i install it i dunno if its intended but when i shine the laser light or flashlight at a person they catch fire! i was wondering if thts part of ur mod or is there any way to turn tht off?

I've noticed when I use the flashlight by dark areas in the subway during the day time it's pretty much useless. You may want to fix that...

hey, metalwars, when i add the Light.wdr into Weapon.img and then i open the game, i don't have any weapons! just bare hands! is there any solution please? GTA IV V1.0.4.0

Ooh wait I found the problem... It's your new light_1.wdr I used the originals from Grim and even your v1.0 pack and they work. Seems that this new light is weaker that you can't see it.

@Protonix: seems to be no problem, all the gun can be light, except sniper rifle.

@DeanWEi@GTA: sure, what weapons you like?

@jorgehunter: it's small map, not island, will look bad on the edge bro.

@prinny529: oh surely you have to use my burn script, you must set key control for flashlight in Flashlight.ini.

@RockDrk: all depends on the ENB, there light and dark ENB, because it's affects the thickness of light.

@JerryKapowitz & Kalasnikov28: I cannot guarantee this script works fine in 1.0.4.

@metalwars any weapons like tactical m4 ak47 pistols or a nice mp5

it doesnt matter just make a flashlight/laser sight weapon model and i would really apreciate it

I'm using l3EVO 2012, but it doesn't explain why i can't even see it in the subway tunnels its really dark in there.

@metalwars is this working for eflc ? I am not playing the original GTA IV now because i need to reinstall it and I lost the serial number of the game :(

Alright I'm am using 1.0.4.0 and figured out that in order to get the glock light to work I had to use the AdvancedHook.dll that comes with LCPDFR or at least it seems so. I could be wrong, but it magically started working after I put that in my directory. Otherwise, could you perhaps list what each value in the .ini file changes... I understand x,y,z but I don't understand what qx,qy,or qz do. Thanks for the great mod :D

@Protonix

Just replace the =9 that is the deagle, to =7 which is the ID for the glock, then you'll be able to use the glock instead of the deagle.
