Havoc!

Please explain why you're reporting this file:

Cancel

V10.0.2
Increased stability when the script engine fails.

V10.0 is available.
Now you can let the car clearers spawn outside the vehicles for more realism.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The structure of the Havoc!Config.xml has changed so you must overwrite it with the new version which is included in this download.

Tiny update (V9.1.0): The doors of the vehicles are now closed before the car clearers drive away.

ATTENTION PLEASE!
The LCPDFR developers have changed the default key for a traffic block to M with the new version 1.0c. This conflicts with the M key of this Havoc mod and creating mad drivers will end up in cars not moving at all. In order to avoid this conflict you must either change the key for the LCPDFR traffic block back to B or change the havoc key to something else in the config.

Havoc! V9 is available.
CHANGES:
- The Autodrive functionality has been separated into it's own mod and has undergone some major improvements. Get it here: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/autodrive-f25867

- Modified the path to the configuration file. It's not Documents/GTA IV/ModSettings/Havoc! anymore but Documents/GTA IV/ModSettings now. This has changed for all of my mods. So now you have all config files in a single folder now (ModSettings). Please read the guide for further installation instructions.
-----
SHORT DESCRIPTION (more information in the guide which you can find in the download)

Good job. Incompatible with 1.0.4.0 Working with 1.0.7.0

8/10 :)
Posted on July 10, 2013 10:38AM by Pappy♣
Pretty cool, but you should rename it something like riot mode or Beginning World Pandemic. But pappy has a good point. 9/10 :D

was looking for a script like this one, but unfortunately it isn't compatible with v1.0.1.0 or v1.0.4.0 .

thanks anyway .. hope you can make it compatible with all.

Posted on July 10, 2013 1:25PM by Deve
Changed the settings in the configuration file to the most aggressive ones so all the players who are too lazy to read the guide get a better impression of the capabilities of this mod (I have read some unfitting comments on YouTube).

@Deve: This mod uses Hazardx's .net Scripthook which is not compatible with older versions of the game. So why not update yours?
Posted on July 10, 2013 1:30PM by Cyron43
This seems similar to Ambient Warfare, only scaled down. Rather than troll you, I will simply say good job on keeping it simple, however I will not be using this.
Posted on July 10, 2013 3:02PM by Will_I_Beard
Seems cool, but i wont rate as I use 1.0.4.0 (latest patch cuts my fps down a lot :() Hope you can somehow make it compatible in the future.

Posted on July 11, 2013 12:54PM by jimmyoftheweek
@jimmyoftheweek: What's so complicated about it? Unpack the rar file anywhere and you'll have a GTA IV folder among other things like the dll and the guide. Just move that folder into your documents folder. Even a 5 year old can do that.

I Got a request. Can you made script which will make us able switch our gun to grenade launcher any time? pls
Posted on July 12, 2013 3:33AM by TheNielegalnY
Hi TheNielegalnY,

no need to invent the wheel a second time. Just get the simple native trainer. I gets you all freedom in the game. :)

It's a huge post. You can find the download link somewhere in the middle.

^ but i mean like the grenade launcher attached to the gun
Posted on July 12, 2013 12:31PM by TheNielegalnY
@Cyron43 I tried that that's why I'm asking you. Your guide says:Copy the GTA IV folder into your Documents folder (not in Documents\Rockstar Games!!!). I do not have a Rockstar games folder in my documents folder. The only Folder that i have a rockstar games folder is in my program files x86 folder and i've tried putting the GTA IV folder in there too. I do not know which "Documents" folder you're talking about. The documents section on the left side of the windows explorer or some other location. Your mod looks very cool and i wan't to use it but i can't seem to get it working. Thank You.
Posted on July 13, 2013 5:17PM by jimmyoftheweek
Hi jimmyoftheweek,

I guess you don't have the "simple native trainer" installed because that one creates a "Rockstar Games" folder into the documents folder. If you don't have that, fine. :)

So the documents folder I'm talking about is the one that Windows claims it is. Look, there is a folder with your account name in c:\users right? I don't know your account name so let's just say it's "Jimmy". It's c:\users\Jimmy then. Go there and you should find a folder called "Documents" inside that. Is it there?

I hope you didn't detour the documents folder in the past.

My mod asks Windows, "tell me the location of your documents folder" and Windows replies back with a path which usually is "c:\users\YourAccountName\Documents". My mod adds to this path "\GTA IV\ModSettings\Havoc!".

Well I said "usually". That's because a PC user can change that path but in case you did that you should know where it resides.

You can tell whether it's the right documents folder by RIGHT clicking on the folder symbol and choosing "Properties" from the context menu. Do you see a tab named "Path" there? If yes then that's the right one because only that has the option to detour the path to another location.

I hope I could help.

How do you change the settings? When I click "Havoc!Config" It brings me to Internet Explorer (Not Chrome) and I can't do any thing after that! What do i do!?
Posted on July 17, 2013 11:20AM by Jayjacker
You can open and edit any XML file with the notepad. Just RIGHT click it and choose "Open with..." from the context menu. Next choose "Notepad" from the sub-menu. And while you're at it you can even tell Windows to open XML files with the notepad by default. Go to "Choose default program" from the context sub-menu, choose notepad and click the little check mark at the bottom (if not already marked).

im a pretty stupid person so can someone please explain how to install this mod in alittle bit of detail
Posted on July 18, 2013 11:08PM by ubob123
Expanded the installation section of the guide for dummies.
Posted on July 19, 2013 6:21AM by Cyron43

@ubob123:

1. Unpack the rar file. I hope you got WinRAR installed. If not then go get it (google for it).

2. Open the installation path of GTAIV/EFLC. On PCs with a 32 bit version of Windows it's

C:\programs\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV (if you want to play with Niko)

or

C:\programs\Rockstar Games\EFLC (if you want to play with Luis Lopez)

In case you run a 64 bit Windows then it's

C:\programs (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV (if you want to play with Niko)

or

C:\programs (x86\Rockstar Games\EFLC (if you want to play with Luis Lopez)

Of course you can install the mod in both.

3. Look for a folder called "scripts". Create it if it's not there (do you need help in creating a folder?)

4. Get HazardX's .net Scripthook if you don't already have it. Look into the guide (which is contained in the rar file) for a download link. You should also make sure you have the latest version of it installed.

5. Open the scripts folder

6. Copy the Havoc!.net.dll and the ScriptHookDotNet.dll into the scripts folder.

7. Open your Documents folder. In case it's not on your desktop go to C:\users\YourUserNameHere\Documents

8. Copy the GTA IV folder from the unpacked rar file to there.

9. DONE
Posted on July 19, 2013 6:24AM by Cyron43
I keep getting "Error during tick in script, Havoc.Code" Or something like it.

Havic.Core*
Posted on July 19, 2013 1:52PM by UsernamesMeh
@UsernamesMeh: That's insufficient information. This mod can crash in 4 cases:

1. You get a MissingMethodException: your version of ScriptHookDotNet.dll is outdated. Get the latest release from HazardX. You can find the download link in the guide.

2. FileNotFoundException: You did something wrong with the installation and the mod cannot find the Havoc!Config.xml. Please read the installation section of the guide and install exactly as described.

3. SerializationException: You messed up the Havoc!Config.xml. Reinstall the Havoc!Config.xml by simply dropping the GTA IV folder from the rar file into your Documents folder and accept all overwrites. Also download my PTS mod (http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/person-transport-service-f21639) and read the FAQ section of the guide. There you find detailed information about XML files and how to handle them.

4. TypeLoadException: You messed up the Havoc!Config.xml when you tried to change any of the settings by providing a wrong value type (i.e. you entered a number where just true or false is expected). Either correct the error or if you are not able to do it see point 3 for another solution.
Posted on July 20, 2013 4:29AM by Cyron43
1. I downloaded latest

2. Took the .net and put it in the script folder and dropped the modsettings folder into documents like you said(gta 4 folder)

3. Allowed overwrites

4. Never tried to change anything.

I'll try to reinstall I dunno though.. my luck I guess.

It seems to be fine until I hit w key to walk forward.. :\
Posted on July 20, 2013 9:51AM by UsernamesMeh
My mod has nothing to do with the w key.

Can you give more details about the error?

- What kind of exception is thrown? Look for something like "MissingMethodException", "SerializationException" or any other word with "Exception" at the end.

- Please also tell me where the exception was thrown. It should be something like

"...Exception in GTA.SomeMethodNameHere in Havoc.SomeClassNameHere.SomeOtherMethodNameHere"

Tell me what you read instead of "..." and "SomeClassNameHere" and "SomeOtherMethodNameHere".

System.ArgumentException: fullOrRelativePath is invald

Posted on July 21, 2013 2:55PM by UsernamesMeh
Hi UsernamesMeh,

thanks for the information. This error means that the configuration file (Havoc!Config.xml) has been put into the wrong place. I have come across some users who have their Documents folder at a different location but they didn't tell Windows.

See my mods ask Windows "tell me the path to the documents folder" and Windows answers back with a path that's usually c:\Users\YourAccountNameHere\Documents. Then my mods add \GTA IV\ModSettings\NameOfTheMod to that.
Posted on July 21, 2013 5:08PM by Cyron43
Great mod this and your undertaker great job but I too was confused by your xml file I got it working correctly now that you explained that but is there no way to change that path just to the normal scripts folder? My pc practically doesn't use my documents for anything but saves and all mod stuff is my scripts or main dir. Its especially strange cause my documents dir for gta is rockstar games/gta iv so i actually had to make the folder gta iv for your mod outside my real gta iv folder so now i have 2 gta iv folders in my documents just seems like a lot of extra for one xml that could just be with its other files right?
Posted on July 22, 2013 1:43PM by Korg0th
Well its not documents its more of "my documents" so is there a way to change the path or what ever?
Posted on July 22, 2013 2:03PM by UsernamesMeh
Well technically on mine if I open it from start menu they refer to it Libraries/Documents while if you access it from normal explorer window it calls its user/(name)/my documents and yea hope you can change that Ive got other mods that have xml files with there .dll
Posted on July 22, 2013 3:00PM by Korg0th
Yeah it works now, if anyone else has their's in rockstar/gta iv and it doesn't work then just make another folder in documents called gta iv and drop the modsettings in there.
Posted on July 22, 2013 6:54PM by UsernamesMeh
GAAAAAAAAAAK!!! Didn't I shout in the guide to NOT install the GTA IV folder into the Rockstar games folder?!

And you do NOT need to create a GTA IV folder! Just drop the GTA IV folder from the rar file into the documents folder!

Heck it's impossible to say it in even more simple words!
Posted on July 23, 2013 12:53AM by Cyron43
This isn't working for me.

I assume it's my error (this is the first time I've tried to install a mod for GTA), but I thinking I did everything right. The GTA IV folder is in Libraries/Documents, the .dll is in the Scripts folder, but nothing seems to happen when I press Shift+M in-game.

I have the Scriptbook in H:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Grand Theft Auto IV, is this correct? I tried reinstalling it under ...\Common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV, but that didn't do anything.
Posted on July 23, 2013 10:53AM by Gamerdog6482
@Cyron43 You seem to be the one not understanding us we all understand your instructions its a simple read plus it wouldnt matter if we created it or copied yours or w/e the fact is its just redundant theres better ways to do it why have all those extra folders and separated files that's everyones point cyron.
Posted on July 23, 2013 12:33PM by Korg0th
@Cryon43, I figured you meant like where ever your gta iv folder was in my case it was in rockstar games folder, so in a way we both derped.
Posted on July 23, 2013 8:23PM by UsernamesMeh
The Rockstar Games folder in "My Documents" is not created with the default installation of the game. That's either created by the simple trainer or the xlivless.dll, I can't remember off hand. Fact is, the savegames are looked up in c:\users\(UserName)\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games without xliveless and in c:\users\(UserName)\documents\Rockstar Games WITH xliveless installed. Anyway, what my point is that I cannot rely on the Rockstar games folder in Documents.

Another reason for the XML files in the Documents folder is the fact that a computer can consist of more than one user account. Now imagine a family computer where more than one person plays GTA IV and everyone wants his own mod settings. That's NOT possible if the config files are installed in the game folder like the usual ini files of other mods. This can only be achieved by having them separate in the documents folder of each user account.

Yes I could have skipped the lowermost sub folder with the mod's name so it would just be Documents\GTA IV\ModSettings but I made that decision with the very first mod I wrote (PTS) and I thought maybe it gets too cluttered in the future when I have all XML files in just one folder and then players would complain about that.
Posted on July 24, 2013 6:18AM by Cyron43
Well for mine it creates Rockstar Games folder in Documents when ever I save, no joke I could delete it and do a new save and it would be there. Windows 7.. such a joy.
Posted on July 26, 2013 1:36PM by UsernamesMeh
@Usernamesmeh ... It literally says specifically don't put it in that folder.

Anyway it's been three days and my problem still hasn't been resolved.
Posted on July 26, 2013 6:32PM by Gamerdog6482
@Gamerdog6482:

I guess you mean "ScriptHookDotNet" because Scripthook is for asi mods and ScriptHookDotNet for .net mods (like my mods).

So put HazardX's ScriptHookDotNet.dll into the Scripts folder. It's the same location where my mod dlls go.
Posted on July 27, 2013 10:13AM by Cyron43
I did that (now), it still doesn't do anything.
Posted on July 27, 2013 7:10PM by Gamerdog6482
@Gamerdog6482: You wrote you put the GTA IV folder into Libraries/Documents. This library, however, consists of two documents folders (if you haven't added even more to that library).

One is your private Documents folder and one is the public documents folder. Open your Documents library again and look under the title "Library "Documents"". You should see a link "2 locations" or "2 places" (I run a german installation so I have to translate). Click that link and you get a list with these locations and their pathes. Look for the list entry of your private Documents, memorize that path and open it. THERE is the place where the GTA IV folder from the rar file must be.
Posted on July 28, 2013 1:31PM by Cyron43
Yes, that is where it is currently saved to (C:\Users\User\My Documents\GTA IV\Modsettings\Havok!\ etc.

But for some reason, nothing happens when I press the hotkey in game. I'm assuming I don't have to be connected to Social Club for this to work, as I never am.
Posted on July 28, 2013 2:05PM by Gamerdog6482
The contents of "Havok!Config" say the following:

<ConfigurationContainer xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/Havoc">

<AllowBombs>true</AllowBombs>

<AllowRockets>true</AllowRockets>

<InvolvePlayer>true</InvolvePlayer>

<KeyContainer>

<Alt>false</Alt>

<Ctrl>false</Ctrl>

<Key>M</Key>

<Name>StartHavoc</Name>

<Shift>true</Shift>

</KeyContainer>

<MadCops>true</MadCops>

<MadDrivers>true</MadDrivers>

<MadPeds>true</MadPeds>

</ConfigurationContainer>

This is correct, yes?
Posted on July 28, 2013 3:03PM by Gamerdog6482
I didn't see it there but what ever.
Posted on July 28, 2013 4:02PM by UsernamesMeh
The XML file is okay. So you press Shift M in game and nothing happens even though all files are installed at their correct places. It should run because it does for almost 2.000 other players (at least none of them complained). Sorry but that's inexplicable for me.
Posted on July 28, 2013 6:47PM by Cyron43
Is it possible that I'm running the wrong version of GTA? Is there any way I can check that?
Posted on July 29, 2013 7:47AM by Gamerdog6482
@Gamerdog6482: You have patched your game, right?
Posted on July 31, 2013 8:37AM by Cyron43
I think so

I just bought it a few weeks ago
Posted on July 31, 2013 3:17PM by Gamerdog6482
Nope then your game is not up to date. Get the patches please,

For GTA IV:

http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/484496-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese-

For EFLC:

http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/479428-Grand-Theft-Auto-Episodes-from-Liberty-City-Title-Update-1-1-2-0-Patch-2-

Note: In case you have the edition with both (GTA IV, TLAD and TBOGT) you need to install both patches.

Good luck and I hope this fixes your problem once and for all.

Posted on July 31, 2013 5:46PM by Cyron43
I've downloaded the GTA IV patch, but the EFLC patch won't instal - I don't actually own them so I don't think it would, though.

Anyway, it STILL isn't working, even after I downloaded and installed the patch. I'll try to download another mod, see if I can get ANYTHING to run correctly.
Posted on July 31, 2013 7:51PM by Gamerdog6482
@Gamerdog: Most modders recommend to use the dsound.dll to make the mods run. However, that doesn't work here. Not only with my mods but generally with all mods! I have to have xliveless (xlive.dll) in order to have them run. Maybe that also does the trick with your game.

NOTE: Once xliveless is installed you don't have access to multiplayer anymore.

You can get xliveless here:

http://www.gtavision.com/?section=downloads&site=download&id=2914
Posted on August 1, 2013 7:12AM by Cyron43
I installed that and it deleted all my saved data
Posted on August 1, 2013 12:12PM by Gamerdog6482
Don't worry it's still there.

First make sure hidden files and folders are visible (refer the Windows help if you don't know how to do it).

Head over to

c:\users\YourAccountName\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames

You should see a folder named user_xxx (where xxx is some long number). Open that one and copy all files to the new location, which is

C:\Users\YourAccountName\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames
Posted on August 1, 2013 2:30PM by Cyron43
OK, now I can access my save file but the mod STILL isn't working.

Now I know I've done something wrong.

Just to briefly go over where I have everything installed, to make sure that that absolutely isn't the problem:

Havok!.net.dll - H:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\scripts

Scripthookdotnet.dll/.asi - same place, also copied into ...\common\Grand Theft Auto IV

Havok!Config - C:\Users\User\Documents\GTA IV\ModSettings

If all that checks out well and good, than I cannot imagine what the problem is.
Posted on August 1, 2013 7:39PM by Gamerdog6482
Are you supposed to put EVERYTHING in the scripts? Because every time I reload the scripts in-game I keep getting an error message and it won't work.
Posted on August 1, 2013 9:17PM by Braylon
@Gamerdog:

1. Is "User" just a placeholder for whatever the real user account name is?

2. The Havoc!Config.xml must be in C:\Users\User\Documents\GTA IV\ModSettings\Havoc!

@Braylon: No, please read the guide.

Posted on August 2, 2013 6:59AM by Cyron43
Havoc! 2.0.0 is available

IMPORTANT NOTE!

The structure of the configuration file (Havoc!Config.xml) has been expanded. So you MUST update it by overwriting it with the new version from the rar file or the mod will crash!

CHANGES/NEW FEATURES

- Car clearers. They care for abandoned vehicles by driving them away. This comes in handy after you created a pile of crashed cars and many vehicles left by their owners because they got scared away. Using the tow service is an annoying task in that situation. See the guide for more information.

- Updated the guide to reflect the new feature.

BUG FIXES

- a rare bug where the code tried to access a ped which was disposed by the game in the short amount of time (microseconds!) between the request and the access.

Havoc! 3.1.0 is available

IMPORTANT NOTE!

The structure of the configuration file (Havoc!Config.xml) has been expanded. So you MUST update it by overwriting it with the new version from the rar file or the mod will crash!

CHANGES/NEW FEATURES

- Mad drivers can now be persisted. So they probably run into you even after hours of game play.

- The configuration has been expanded with a setting for this. You can decide whether you want persistent mad drivers or not.

- The configuration has been expanded with a further key which lets you release persisted mad drivers.

- The guide has been updated to reflect those changes. Please read it for further information.

Have fun. :)

ROADMAP (things to come)

I am currently developing several new features and I just want to let you guys know what lies ahead:

- Blip map that shows the location of all persistent mad drivers (can be toggled by a key)

- text display that shows how many persistent mad drivers are on rampage (is going to be toggled with the Blip map)

- text display that pops up whenever a mad driver either was injured or died or when he left the vehicle because it's flipped over or if the vehicle is destroyed. This feature is already implemented but that version is not yet uploaded because I want to implement the other features first.

- You can be hijacked by a mad driver with the vehicle you currently drive! You will be able to switch this feature by either setting the InvolvePlayer tag in the config to false or by simply not sitting in any vehicle when you press M. But if you dare then get ready for a death ride! >;-)
Posted on August 28, 2013 8:32AM by Cyron43
Sounds awesome. Thanks for the update.

I have a random suggestion too, not sure if it would be too hard though: Have some peds around town that are in "crazy" animations, essentially peds losing their minds. There's a lot of really sketchy animations in this game. The script can either initiate and loop the animations on random peds or alternatively, could spawn different ped groups in different areas of town as you approach based on chance and other factors perhaps.

Hi Mark, I'm not sure what you mean with crazy animations. Can you give me an example?

BTW all new features are implemented now and I'm currently writing additional information into the guide. I will upload the new version as soon as this is done.

Havoc! 4.2.0 is available for download.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

The structure of the configuration file (Havoc!Config.xml) has been expanded. So you MUST update it by overwriting it with the new version from the rar file or the mod will crash!

NEW FEATURES

- Blip map that shows the location of all persistent mad drivers (can be toggled by a key)

- text display that shows how many persistent mad drivers are on rampage (is going to be toggled with the Blip map)

- text display that pops up whenever a mad driver either was injured or died or when he left the vehicle because it's flipped over or if the vehicle is destroyed. This feature is already implemented but that version is not yet uploaded because I want to implement the other features first.

- You can be hijacked by a mad driver with the vehicle you currently drive! You will be able to switch this feature by either setting the Hijacker tag in the config to false or by simply not sitting in any vehicle when you press M. But if you dare then get ready for a death ride! >;-)

- The guide was updated to reflect the changes and also has a keyboard quick reference and a table of contents now.

I have added a video which shows a different use of this mod. A combination of persistent mad drivers and a hijacker results in a crazy race! :D

Havoc! 4.2.2 available

IMPORTANT NOTE!

The structure of the configuration file (Havoc!Config.xml) has been expanded. So you MUST update it by overwriting it with the new version from the rar file or the mod will crash!

CHANGES

I found it annoying to leave the vehicle while it was still moving. So I added a toggle key for the hijacker. Now you can press H for either getting hijacked and to make the hijacker stop and leave. As always you can change this key to whatever you like.

Havoc! 4.3.1 is available.

CHANGES

- The hijacker can now be used as your personal taxi driver. See section 6.4 of the guide for further information.

- Updated the guide to reflect the changes.

Havoc! V4.3.3 is available

BUG FIX

- if you did a "reloadscripts" in the console window while the hijacker/taxi driver was still in the vehicle, he didn't leave and if you bailed out of the vehicle by pressing F the player character got frozen. Now just press H again. The old driver will leave and a new one will spawn.

Havoc! 4.3.4 is available

CHANGES

- I made the hijacker vulnerable. He can be knocked off the bike, fly through the windscreen and so forth.

- the taxi driver is now invincible, the complete opposite as the hijacker.

- Added a troubleshooting section to the guide.

BUG FIXES

- taxi driver didn't spawn when Hijacker was set to false in the config.

CHANGES

- added some useful information in the hijacker and taxi driver section of the guide.

Havoc! 4.3.6 is available.

BUG FIX

- fixed a severe bug where no taxi driver was spawned and the player was warped outside the vehicle and got frozen.

Maybe you wonder why this mod is called Havoc!. Well at the time I created the first version it's scope was purely on causing havoc. All the other features like car clearers and the personal taxi driver have been added recently. I considered whether I should give this mod a different name but that could prolly cause more confusion.

Have fun. :)

Why I added a taxi driver anyway? One fine day I implemented the hijacker. Then some people asked me about a taxi mod and why PTS doesn't have this feature. PTS, however has a completely different scope. I looked at the hijacker code and realized it's just some minor changes/additions to make him a full fledged taxi driver. So I did it.

Much has been improved and added since my last comment. I recommend you guys install the new version 7.

Have fun :)

I have LCPDFR 1.0 installed today and I found out when a police man is your driver he suddenly forgets his task when there's a pursuit in order to join it. Well this is very convenient for lazy people like me. I can just lean back and watch the chase. On the other hand it can get annoying if you prefer the driver to drive just to the waypoint.

What do you guys prefer?

Well you had your chance. I decided for a static non cop model.

Error is script "Havoc.net" <---- Why is this happening?... Would Trainer or Traffic flow screw with this mod?
Posted on January 28, 2014 5:46PM by Jayjacker
Hello Jayjacker, is this crash permanent? I mean, does it always happen as soon as you enter the world?

If not then this is most likely due to some instability of the game itself. The script engine is error prone. I see this every day, I play for an hour or so and then the script dying begins. At first it's one mod (most of the time the policing mod) and then one after the other dies as well.

Try if reducing the traffic density helps.

But if you face this bug as soon as you enter the world then please open the ScriptHookDotNet.log.

Find the so called stack trace of that particular crash and please post it here. A stack trace is something like this:

2014-01-28 22:31:12 - Error during Tick in script 'Policing_Resist.Policing_Resist':

GTA.NonExistingObjectException: Invalid call to an object that doesn't exist anymore!

at GTA.Ped.get_Position()

at GTA.World.GetPeds(Vector3 Position, Single Radius, Int32 MaxAmount)

at GTA.World.GetPeds(Vector3 Position, Single Radius)

at Policing_Resist.Policing_Resist.Assist(Object sender, KeyEventArgs e)

at GTA.KeyEventHandler.Invoke(Object sender, KeyEventArgs e)

at GTA.Script.ProcessEvents()

at GTA.Script.DoTick()

at GTA.ScriptThread.OnTick()

Though this is a stack trace of a crashed Policing script you should find a stack trace from the Havoc mod.

@prabhatec: And you post this here because? Your issue has nothing to do with this mod. And sorry I can't help you. I don't even know what you mean with "cleaning booth".

i push m, i see the writing havoc... but nothing it's happening....

mhhhh why?
Posted on July 20, 2014 6:27PM by dinktheboss
@dinktheboss: What options have you set in the Havoc!Config.xml?

With the default settings you only get mad drivers.
Posted on July 28, 2014 9:16AM by Cyron43
@dinktheboss: Also, have you read the text block to the left? The paragraph starts with "ATTENTION PLEASE!". In case you have LCPDFR 1.0c installed the M key conflicts with the "block traffic" command of LCPDFR. So either change the key setting of my havoc mod or the one of LCPDFR.
