LCPDFR is a police simulation mod for GTA IV and EFLC. It transforms the game into a law enforcement sim where you arrest the crooks, rather than working for them. you told me so when i asked for permission to inc in my vehicle pack?
I install it as normal, then it doesn't start at all, I install it with Xliveless, and it gets to the black screen then freezes and stops working.

I installed GTA IV 1.0.7 on steam and i have non steam version installed 1.0.4. The only thing you need to do is rename the settings file when switching between the two because each version uses different settings and they both take settings from same filename and same directory.
So when i wanna play 1.0.7 my two settings file look like this, i made up the filesizes so u can see i am just renaming:
Settings.config 25kb & Settings104.config 20kb
then when i play 1.0.4 i change to this
Settings107.config 25 kb & Settings.config 20kb
makes sense??

There is a reason why it works only on 1.0.7, if you dont know why then you dont deserve to give a bad rating. It only works on 1.0.7 for a reason... ;)

I installed Everything .NET, C++ 2010, and I am running 1.0.7..
I have the GTA Trainer.. is that a problem?
At the moment we can't support 1.0.4.0 because of technical limitations. LCPDFR uses some pretty complicated memory hacking, and obviously all the offsets and addresses for this sort of stuff change every time a new patch is released. The main problem we had was related to the way in which we use the native GTA IV helpboxes up in the top left to display text through .gxt hooking, as this was just crashing like there was no tomorrow on 1.0.4.0, therefore we were only able to support the latest versions of GTA IV and EFLC.
I'ts always error, please gimme step-by-step EFLC installation :(

Since I am using supersampling, I cannot physically close the police database. I have to reloadscripts for it to close. Thus I cannot make traffic stops and check licenses.
Can you guys add in a shortcut key to close the police database? Thanks.
I know you're still in Beta, but what are the chances of getting a wiki or complete guide? I can't find out everything that I can do in this mod.
Also, how does one check his stats in game? Arrests, citations etc...

I have problem with ths mod and I hope you guys can help me with it.
I have installed everything correctly, but when I start up the game and trying to load my last save it just keeps loading forever and the game wont start. Any fix for this? Im running 1.0.7.0.

Try removing the save file your trying to load. Dont delete though... just put it somewhere else while you try to work it out. Also, dont save as a cop... thats seems to cause problems.
