RoadKill v1 with Controller Support

Adds scoring for running people over.
Text in the lower right shows you score, total people ran over and your multiplier. The text fades away after 5 seconds as to not get in the way constantly.

Note: Roadkills still count when you dive out of the car. Multiplier maxes out at 100, good luck reaching that.

Crashed in 1.0.7.0

Should I have directinput off or what?
Posted on February 7, 2013 4:31AM by AgenBlaze
It crashed? i shall look into it for you, sorry to release some thing with bugs. I'm running in 1.0.7.0, maybe check the script hook used to load it, i used this one: http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83

Did it crash on start up or when you ran someone over?

DirectInput On/Off made no difference for me.

I shall make a vid soon.

It crashed on startup. Using scripthook from JulioNIB's script
Posted on February 7, 2013 4:53PM by AgenBlaze
Ahh that may be why then, wrong script hook. Im new to this mod lark so im not sure if i can get it to work with that scripthook. I should of mentioned which one it used. I will do in the future. Sorry again.

Making a violent game even more violent? Genius!

Rated: 1/10
Posted on February 7, 2013 10:14PM by Gus Erlangga
Well for those of us who can actually define the difference between a game and reality, and are not so easily influenced by a simulations actions, then we will carry on being violent in a violent game. As its more moral to do it in a game rather in real life. Its close minded opinions like that which ruin games.

Ignore those idiot 1 raters. Great job here. Any chance of making it compatible to the Scripthook I'm using?

making a violent game more violent = win

I just see somethink. Few people just comment mods, no testing, no play. Just rating 1.0. I think these accounts are fake and one of modder who was rated bad, revenge now.

Dont worry, mod looks good [not tested = not rated], but idea is from Kill Frenzy mod on GTA Garage ;)

Thanks guys, i knew someone would appreciate it.

@AgenBlaze, if you could PM me the exact script hook you use, maybe a download link i can test it with that. I just tested it with JulioNIB's and it ran ok, so ive either got a different version to you OR the dependency on a few XNA stuff maybe * it up. So ill check your version, if not i'l make it purely keyboard then hopefully that may work.
Posted on February 9, 2013 6:57AM by NomeSkavinski
@AgenBlaze, i couldn't find how to PM you, lol. Here's one that doesn't need XNA, only uses keybaord. Ive put two scripthooks that both worked with it, one of them is from JulioNIB's latest AirCombat download - http://rapidshare.com/files/3466734895/RoadkKillv1.zip

Let me know if there are anymore issues.
Posted on February 9, 2013 7:42AM by NomeSkavinski
Lemme try using JulioNIB's(direct copy from folder) and the one without XNA :P
Posted on February 9, 2013 12:34PM by AgenBlaze
fails to start game with this script on eflc , what are the xna for?
Posted on February 9, 2013 3:19PM by m1ke
Only tested it in GTA 4, not the episodes. XNA is just so i could get the controller input working with the mod.
Posted on February 10, 2013 10:15AM by NomeSkavinski
Tested it in EFLC: TLAD, EFLC: TBOGT from a clean install and there is no issues, even put the IceEnhancer 2.1 back on to see if that interfered and still no issues. Maybe it due to its support with XNA, il sort out the download with both controller and keyboard versions. However there is a link above this post with a keyboard version, check if that works. and let me kno if there are anymore issues.

CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Grand Theft Auto IV has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry guys, forgot to update this one. Move the files Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll and Microsoft.Xna.Framework.xml to the same directory as your GTA4/EFLC.exe.

I installed the pure mod setup and I don't know which scripthook that installed
Posted on June 11, 2013 12:34PM by Curtisawesome

Posted on June 12, 2013 12:44PM by Curtisawesome
@ NomeSkavinski: Awesome mod, really adds a new kind of fun and objective to the game, especially with a zombie script installed. is there a way to make it work when shooting peds too? Btw 10/10
