I in no way have created this f'n mod, I am simply transfering it here because I have seen folks crying about it. I believe the author goes by the name of Jitsuin, so all credit goes to him.

This mod basically just makes all traffic lights solid.

This is a script mod, so obviously you would place this in your scripts folder...right Einstein?!

Tested with GTA4 1.0.7 & * works! Replaces: Traffic lights

What's the reason of this, it's just makes the game less cool.

I for one like this thing, seeing drivers ejected through the wind screen :D

@Bid96, it's just another * mod bro chillax..you don't gotta d-load it if you don't want to..right??? Some other people might want to add realism to their game, so...that would be its purpose.

I've seen cars crash into traffic poles during the winter quite often, and those things are pretty solid. I for one thank you for this, it really adds to the realism.

Great mod which adds more realism. And I got to agree with what DeadPresident said. LOL.

I think for this mod need something realism like that:

If u drive in to the traffic pole with power like with Phantom or similar big truck then you can smash that traffic pole out. Or maybe with car when you reach speed more than 100 km/h. I know that because I'm working in crash test lab.

So please think about it.

The person that made this mod got up to a 1.4 release before leaving gta, you had the option to disable while on foot but not sure about what you suggested but quite possibly???

Sorry if this doesn't help you......

However i can prob give it to steeL to release if i still have it???

Adds to realism, but I'm pretty sure a semi will be able to plow through a pole at a high enough speed. Good idea though!

I'm going to try this, but I'm hoping that lightpoles will also be fixed.

Also, I'd like if each vehicle makes them respond differently.

Because obviously bigger vehicles might just wreck poles.

But then how in the original games the poles just detach from the ground with minor effort is just silly...

Thank you! I lost this mod, and wanted to refind it, since it definitely adds realism to the Liberty City Environment.

I have been looking for something like this. I know there has been talk about it, but does anybody know if anyone was able to make a mod where the poles react differently to higher speeds and bigger vehicles etc?

You get a 10/10 from Trashpig. :) I was subconsciously thinking, "I hate how weak these poles are!"

Hey lookie lookie... this mod fixes that!
