New gang turfs, bases, members, bosses, dealers, street dealing, rip offs, stings, suppliers, contacts, prostitution... Kill a rival gang boss, and wars on. The bikers have taken over the parking garage in north Alderny and the mafia run big paulies car dealership in south Alderney next to the strip club. The african gang are small time dealers and heroin suppliers. Buy off of a small time dealer and follow him to his supplier. Then take out the supplier to complete the mission. For a bonus you can take
suppliers drugs and sell them to one of the two main dealers(near biker garage and near mafia stripclub). The street punks are crystal meth suppliers. The koreans are a heroin supplier and the jamaicans are the weed supplier.
Turf corners have yellow blips on the map. If you can hold a corner for 3 minutes from gang attacks and police, the turf will be your gangs turf and gang members will run to help you there when you need it. Eventually in a future update you will rank up again after taking all turfs.
Your wanted level will be cleared when turf is defended so hide your weapon right before the corner is taken and the cops won't come back for you. You will see blips on the map and radar showing contacts when you are close to them. Interact with them by standing close. Not much interaction yet. You cannot kill your own gang, now you don't piss someone off by mistake. Join the other side by killing your boss. Each gang has a recruiter who can get you in the gang, press e when they say join. If you attack a gang a hit will be out for you, watch out sitting at traffic lights. Get hitmen to back off by paying bribes at
the strip club or church near biker garage.
After paying a bribe, no new hitmen will be spawned unless you attack them first. If you piss of your gang, you might as well kill the boss too, so you can get a crew from rival gang.
If you are wanted by a gang, the best protection from hitmen is to hide out at a controlled turf or the opposite gangs base and
obtain a crew there.
Become a biker VP or mafia Made Man by killing the opposite gangs leader. Your gangs boss or recruiter will tell you your gang
status.
If you are a VP or Mademan, the recruiter of the gang will set you up with a crew to protect you, killing cops and rival gang
members.
Crew members will be sent out to you regularly then, and they will come back to you as long as you are still in that gang.
You cannot kill your own crew.
Pickup heroin or meth bags by standing over them, look for dealers with the $ symbol to sell off drugs.
You can run the mafia's prostitution ring now, a contact at the base will give you 3 girls to take to their corners.
Drop them off to work at their corners(pink blips) and come back after you drive 400ft away and they will have money for you.
Though they never want to pay so you'll have to smack them around until the girls health is below 50, then they will pay.
You can now be a street dealer, press shift + I to activate. You have 5 drugs and will randomly deal to any close pedestrian.
Watch out for undercover cops and rip offs.

Everything is about distances if someone isn't there or theyre dead, go around the corner and they pop up. Look for the blips on
your radar.
If you want to make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be, don't drive in there at 60 mph. Walk or drive slowly into the area.
It's also good practice to drive around the block of the base or turf you are going to, to make sure everyone will be where they should.

E = pickup drug bag.
Shift + E = drop drug bag.
Shift + I = starts street dealing

Copy TurfWars.cs to your GtaIv scripts folder.

*Remove Desert.cs when using Turfwars, it really slows this down.

*Update 11/12/12 - crashfix

*Update 11/04/12 - added stings and rip offs during street dealing

*Update 11/03/12 - added 5 drug randomized street dealing(shift + I) feature and fixed lag bugs

*Update 10/30/12 = added drug supplier missions, dealing and polished things up a bit.


*Update 10/23/12 - added mafia prostitution ring

You can edit this mod easily for your own fun just credit me for making original and include your changes if you upload this

I have done the missions for the mafia family. Killed the boss and stole the Bikers limo. When I go back to the family I get promoted and get my own crew but that's it. The other guys have the same mission (steal the car and kill the boss) and every time I go near the drugs I get told to move away. Are they the only things I should be able to do at the moment or am I doing something wrong?

you must use high poly car or player models or something i use vanilla gta 1.0.7.0 so thats what its for if it crashes for everyone but me i guess ill stop working on it and remove it

really nice script. During a fire fight some crew members sometimes just stand in the open doing nothing until they get shot/hit. And they can react slow if I honk the horn and want them to get in my car. I am running this script on BoGT could that be related? 10/10

some of them can react slow sometimes, im still in the process of smoothing everything out as this is a work in progress. Crew members only fight hated targets 20ft away from you so they dont run away that can make them stand around and get shot sometimes it could also be something else their are so many things going on in this mod. You don't need the horn, when they realize your in a car they will jump in automatically.

mgdhi if you see no gang members it didnt start.

hit ~ and check the console for turfwars and tell me what it says.

If nothing you didnt setup gta to run scripts correctly

It says nothing I've run scripts b4 so I don't know why this isn't working I've deleted all scripts to see if that was why this isn't working but still nothing what do?

did you extract the rar file? if the cs file is in your scripts folder and other scripts run it will run. At the least it would give you an error in the console

@mgdhf check your game version(1.0.7) and scripthook (v1.7.1.7b) or while playing press ' and then type "reloadscripts"

if it not work check log "ScriptHookDotNet.txt" make sure it says ***successfully started script 'TurfWars'!***

Ok I got rid of the Trainer, however where do i get this Scripthookdotnet? I downloaded GTAIV Scripthook_0.5.1_Redist and It didnt have it included?

depends how it happened schoober. Google scripthookdotnet(v1.7.1.7b) sonny and after that if it still doesnt work, replace dsound.dll with xlive.dll (xliveless)

I got it working and love it, however I have a few suggestions. More emphasis on drug dealing, more gangs like russian mob, triads, or mexican gangs/cartel

It looks good man, serious improvement to dealin however I have one more suggestion for you. You should implement smaller dealing more ounces/grams and people to sell to like a street dealer aswell having the major dealers respawn if you successfully rob them

Yeah I mean I like doin big deals like you already set (Glad you implemented that) but street deals should be do-able aswell. Also one thing I noticed is its all restricted to alderney, you should make more on the other 2 parts of the city aswell but thats a suggestion because I dont know how long it takes you to code it in there.

I'd like to see big drug deals, where another big player rolls up with a couple bodyguards and it could have the possibility of turning into a stand off. Breaking bad has good examples.

I dont have it either bro just remembering those clubs would be a nice addition, I found abit of a bug when I try to stop street dealing alot of the time it doesn't work people continue to approach me. There should also be more guards with the major heroin and cocaine suppliers

Good find i didn't know that was there. Deleting the 3 Game. parts of the line will fix that it's not needed. Download it now i updated it.

hello all, i like the mod so far, but i have a small problem, on the turf just next to the car lot, once the clock gets down to about 130 seconds left, "error in script turfwars" appears, so i reloaded the script and tried taking another turf and it worked, does anyone have an idea at why i get that message?

any help appreciated.

I don't have any of these errors so you must open scripthookdotnet.log in your gtaiv directoy, find what the error says about turfwars and paste it here so i can fix it thanks.

the turf to the left of the car lot where the mafia are stationed.

it works fine up until the clock gets to say....130/120 and/or i kill an enemy then the script crashes, however ive managed to kill the enemy boss and take over the turf next to their base and that worked fine.

hey man could you create a script that made it like the police are invading soldiers and you have to fight them off. also you would have to capture territories back. This is just my suggestion of what a cool script mod would be and i cannot create it myself because I lack the skills to pull it off. Thx ps. nice mod

Details for requested script,

Enemy landed at north Alderney (westdyke area) and control all of Alderney as well as most of Algonquin (ambient fighting in Chinatown and Middle Park between civilians (rebels) and police/NOoSE (invading army). Rebels control all of Bohan as well as Francis international airport. Lots of fighting in Dukes and broker with small base camps in Meadows Park for the rebels and in Hove Beach or Firefly Island for the invading army. Main base camp for rebels anywhere in Bohan; main base camp for the invading army is the prison in Alderney. The player can choose which side they want to be on and once on that side cannot switch for 1 week (game time). Missions would include destroying the other sides vehicles/convoys (if convoys are possible), blowing up fuel/supply depots, capturing enemy territory, assassinating enemy commanders, and freeing POWs. If there are any more details needed just tell me.

Where should i start? What gangs/features do you want? I was thinking about crips or ballas having bases somewhere while bloods or 69'ers patrol on foot or car and encounter each other radomly... I need more of a plot

Well with GTA 4, I was thinkin set up big drug deals on the first 2 islands, extortion of small businesses, having russians and italians fight over territory. Also got Bohan where the Black gangs and hispanic gangs could be going at it.

Jamaican gangs goin up against russian mob. As for plot, should be able to join the mexican cartel centered in Bohan (Trafficking cocaine)and Russian Mob in Broker can traffick Heroin and meth. There is tons to do but all of them should encounter one another randomly, you also got the Triads to throw in the mix

Extortion of small businesses is a mod unto itself. I suggest requesting someone like julio, ras or skorpro to do something like that as it would need some serious unique code. I don't really like the russians for this since they were very much a part in the main story and the jamaican's were done in drugwars by cheyezze. The mafia has been done to death too.

Lol well you still have the Mexican Cartel, Albanian Mob, Irish Mob, the black gangs. Have the cartel, trafficking cocaine, heroin, meth, guns, ect. The Blacks going to war with them, the Albanians and Irish mob in it trying to get the business of the cartel.

The most important thing when planning a mod is how to make it fun. I want to do things a little different in the next island. I'm thinking i should try to have the gangs closer so they can fight each other better.

Oh absolutely, along with the drug deals you should have not only you tryin to go for the loot and money, but have rival gangs join in aswell. Good war zone and have rival gangs fighting each other over territory and attacking one another is a big plus.

Was kinda wonder why nobody ever attempted some kinda gang violence boost lol

Hey, is there a way to save your progress? I think I reloaded the script and everything I've accomplished is gone. I did it everything again and saved the game only to have every progress I made disappear again. Is there a way that you could make a .dat file to save the progress, or am I doing something wrong?

I second the Triad and Irish mafia! And for the Latin gang I think Spanish Lords sounds better since that's what there called in game.

Also could you fix the interaction key its like the window to press it when talking to someone is minuscule maybe 1 sec lol. I have to repeatedly tap E over and over to find just the right time to interact. And dealing delay is really bad i start and stop like 4 times before i truly stop because I cant tell if its actually ending.

If your thiking about Skirmishing between gangs maybe have it where the gangs recapture corners and you must defend or maybe just have random drivebys at bases and captured corners. Carbombs are always fun and suprising. I also like Sonnys idea of when your dealing other gangs should try to take your deals or take you out. I think gun running being implemented would be awesome. Really cool mod though 10/10

I'm thoroughly confused about the prostitution ring. You drop the girls off on the corner and once you're far enough away from them, they disappear. When you go back to the compound a new prostitute is there and the one you dropped on the corner is gone. How does this work, and is this a glitch or something?

I downloaded this and wasn't satisfied. When I start my game it gives me an error like what cj8990 said. Although it looks good, I'll give it a 3/10, as seeing as some people cannot get it working either.

this mod is fantastic i am running it with tbogt and skorporos safe house mod all works well so far the gangs really chase you this is better then the gang wars in tbogt 10/10 for this fine mod

There is no real amount or inventory, even if you havent bought anything you can still start selling. Or when you dont have money you can still buy.

How can I change this to make it realistic?

Does this have something to do with the "**** amount()"

and "****.delete()" lines?

If so, how can I edit and change the amounts added or substracted?

I cant seem to find any abort buy or abort sell lines in case a condition is not met (no money, no stash,...), is it implemented?

Also It would be nice to actually see how much stock of each product you currently have...

Also, I could be doing something wrong, but the progress doesn't seem to save, having to repeat over at reload. Could this be?

Just wanted to give you credit for building this, because it sounds great in your description but I just came across an error in the script while playing and had a look at the source code... very unfortunate but it is not well written, very sensitive to errors. You could have saved like thousands of lines of code and still make it more stable, do you realize that? Anyways, cudos for the great idea for a plugin and trying to realize it!

i think i did some things that way so it was easier to find or understand by me an like i said im a rookie. You can take the features ideas and rewrite it. its at the point where i would have to do the same. Thanks for the cudos

tobo with the hooker sex ring i think if you dont go too far they dont get deleted. if i never removed them it would mess up our games. only go far enough and if anyone gets that gta.game crash.. remove gta.game in those lines

Are you still updating this mod? I'm gonna download it and give it a try. From what I've read in the comments, you really take people's considerations into account and you really try to fix and make your mod good. I have a lot of respect for you so far. Also, did you add the Irish Mafia yet? What other gangs are not in this but you're going to add eventually?

Was doing a "Destination - Defend the Turf" when I got the error and the Bikers stopped spawning and the cops started reappearing.

Bugs: When Pedestrians of Turf Wars spawn sometimes they'll spawn in the air and become "hard"? http://i.imgur.com/RRBFtFA.jpg

Bikers won't get out of their car when they pull up, they'll slam on their brakes / turn towards me but don't get out.

Can't accpet the Kill Biker Boss / Steal Limo missions. When trying to deliver the prostitues they just hover in air and won't get in any car.

Tried to get videos but Rockstar Social Club is worse than EA Origin.

Would love to see this finished and bug free. Rated 10/10 even though can be buggy, the concept is amazing, loved Turf Wars in GTA:SA.

just go to the car dealership next to the strip club in south alderney and stand next to the mafia recruiter for a few seconds I think you have to press e too I forget. The mafia recruiter is standing in the middle of the lot or find the biker recruiter in the parking garage up north near the church and hospital. Blips don't show up unless you are close to them first

Another issue, if you're on a date with a friend, or doing a mission with other people, when you move too far away from them, they just die. You know when it would usually say "You've left friend behind go back and get him" then it just says "friend has been injured/died"

Are you going to work on it once your new gaming pc comes in? Not trying to sound pushy just wondering cause I think this mod is cool, actually changed the bikers to KPA(Homefront Models) and the US(of course) Basically a war sort of without vehicles :P
