Building modifications based on the original GTA IV files by Rockstar Games

Unique Engineering is a combined GTA IV map and script mod, transforming the Westdyke Auto’s dealership in the Westdyke area of Liberty City into a more realistic fictional car dealership, which I named Unique Engineering. The map mods are there to edit the building appearance itself, while the script adds functionality to the building, which is outlined below.

- Save and load at the garage
- Saving at the garage is tracked, assuring you spawn at the right garage when restarting the game
- Up to 18 vehicles can be saved in and around the garage, including model, car colors 1-4, livery and extra’s
- Fully automated car saving and deleting process; It is not needed to manually copy settings in the configuration file
- Teleport from any point in the world to the garage
- Respawn a single or all vehicles at the garage
- Support to display custom car and color names in the menu system, configurable through the settings file. Instructions to do so included
- Customizable key bindings via the .ini-file
- All features are controlled via an ingame menu system
- Compatible with ikt’s Traffic Load Fix
- Detailed instructions on the script usage included
- Document with all numeric key bindings included

Requirements:
- GTA IV 1.0.7.0
- .Net Scripthook 1.7.1.7 Beta
- Any ASI-loader
- OpenIV is needed for the installation of the mod

Furthermore all prerequisites for the above are also needed in order to run this mod.

From 01/02/13 onward I will release my mods on the following sites:

I have reached an agreement with the site moderator of GTAinside to upload my mods there now too. All future mods will also be uploaded there.

@alp98: I'm not entirely sure since I don't play EFLC, but I see no reason why it wouldn't. I have added support for the extra cars included in EFLC and as long as you install it correctly it should work. If you're going to try, let me know if it works.

Looks an innovative mod, downloading but 10/10 for the idea, will rate actually after having a gameplay session with this mod :)

Awesome work, you added very nice detail to city. I'm not using scripts too much, but just that shop with functioning doors alone as excellent for me. I'm gonna add some cars spawning nodes for me, because i don't use ScriptHookDotNet.asi

Thank for sharing your work man. LC can use much more places like this.

Very nice work! This mod is very easy to use and is effective. Save vehicles - load vehicles. Save game - load game. And it works seamlessly. 10/10.

dont work correctly on tbogt :/

the motorbikes are still there, you can go through the white wall, the objects doesnt appear(like in the pics) and i always get stars if i enter my car.

but saving cars etc works perfectly.

im using a car mod pack, traffic loader and the simple native trainer.

From my point of view this doesn't sound like a problem that is related to EFLC, but rather not installing it correctly. Below I've described your issues and which files they should relate to. Try replacing them 1 by 1.

-Wanted when entering a car: Try copying ambient.ipl again as described in Step 1

-Motorbikes are still there and no objects spawning: As described in step 5, replace nj_01_stream11.wpl, nj_01_stream13.wpl in nj_01.img using OpenIV.

-You can go through the white wall: As in step 5, replace nj_01_3.wbn and nj_01_18.wbn in nj_01.img using OpenIV.

Hope you get it working!

I can not install, because non-existent two file.

Spark IV can not find that two files.

@Zexy, you most likely need to add them to the archive. you will need to use open iv to do that since spark iv is only programmed to replace, not add

I go step by step, file by file, but when the game needs to load then stop the load.Something is wrong with the files, check nj01_19alpha.wdr file, I had this problem with open IV, so I used a spark iv, I have GTA IV 1.0.7.0. I like your idea for this mod, good luck

You should really write an OpenIV installation script for this.

It's too much effort and room for error with this many files, great mod though.

By the scripts folder, what do you mean? I put the two files in the script folder but when I started the game F10 wasnt working. :( this looks great. Definite 10/10 once I get it working.

I have a problem, when attempt to save 3 or 4 cars leaves an error 'error in script: uniquecar.car' so that it leaves? or that I can make to fix it?

It have problem with mission of LURE. When I installed this mod, I could't loading that mission. My game ver is 1070. Other mission before that could't make problem.

Hey bro, this is my all time favourite mod hands down :) but yesterday, when I started the game in the Unique garage, it said error in script "UniqueCar.car" and actually made my character freeze, and to undo this I had to go into my trainer and press unfreeze character. now whenever I start the game it has me frozen and all my cars are gone and it has the error message. Please help me out, I'm pretty sure its one of my cars that's the problem but I don't want to delete anything yet. Thanks :)

Hiya,

This mod is the BOMB.

I use it in my gta4 as a base of OP's

All works fine.

Only thing i question is, is there a door at the back of the build?

I see a ramp up but its just a glass panel.

Nice mod :) But I found a bug that I can't play bowling,pool, and darts. It happens only when I have this mod in the game. I hope you fix this bug :)

@cestinaalber. I have this mod running, its working fine with everything, what i did have to do though was go through the scripts folder and add the mod scripts first, then run gta, then back out and add the rest, then it worked fine. Hope this helps.
