Please explain why you're reporting this file:

this isnt your model, so do not go around saying it is your first vehicle when you mean its your first skin. And you should properly reference the model owner (NicolaiB)

I think I said it pretty clearly in the description and in the ReadMe.txt file, that this is not my model and that all credit for it goes to the original creator. The model that I used was created by Slavaska, I don't know if he took it from anyone else.

Just because you make it "pretty clear" doesn't mean you have the right to re-upload it. This isn't your model and you shouldn't be giving out it without permission.

Yes, giving out a texture for a model that I didn't create myself is allowed. Otherwise there would be the textures the owner of the model created and that's that. Then other people wouldn't be able to release their textures for that model just because someone else created it? I'm fully aware that it is not okay to go out and say that I created it if I didn't, but I don't do that. I just publish a texture, but with the model that fits it.

No, it's not. I don't think you quite understand what we're trying to say. Unless the original author gave you permission, you cannot give their model out. Even if they did give you their permission, you would need the credits that accompany this model. There's many people who contributed to this particular vehicle in a number of ways, such as the base model, the lighting equipment, the interior parts, ect.

The only thing you originally created was the texture and that's all you have the right to release at this point. Just because you emphasize all the credit goes to the original author of the model doesn't justify you to give it out without any crediting because then it just fades away all those who helped make this model what it is. The state of the modding community really has fallen and now people's hard work is taken for granite and overlooked in most cases. There's no point to releasing models anymore if other's will just slap on some texture and re-release it saying "I made this".

I understand and I messed up. I'm sorry, but I didn't know that you wasn't allowed to link the correct model with my texture, since so many people does that. Thank you for telling me, I'm now aware of that and I will no longer release mods with the correct model included, I will just link my texture and a link to the model. Would that be okay to do? But I still haven't said in anyway that I created the model as you say in your last sentence, but still, thank you. Should I delete this mod then, or would a re upload without the model, but with a link instead be okay?
