Looks sweet, love 510s but this one doesn't quite fit te seen. The rake and sidepipes aren't the norm. Usually the side pipes would exit off to one side, and the lack of a front splitter would cause serious lack of downforce. All in all still an incredible model.

One thing conpletely false however is the bluebirds were never left hand drive. Bluebirds were JDM market only and reffeted to the body styling coupe vs hardtop or similiar effect. They never made it stateside other than as a Datsun 510. Just for accuracy thought I'd post that.

I did test it and there is something down there but not a splitter. The team BRE splitter is the most commonly used one. The holes as far as I could tell are sealed off making it a spoiler not a splitter, the splitter allowed airflow to push down a bit more adding that much needed downforce for racing. Also side note on the trabs-am vinyl package livery, a section is missing between the tailights.

Blade3562: u've realized that this AIN'T the BRE i'm working on? and btw, i didn't have perfect pics of the splitter, so i couldn't make it right, only after this custom 510's release, then i found a perfect ref pic and then i made the splitter right

All 510 splitters look similiar the BRE is just the most common so I made mention of it. Almost every car on a page 1 google search for datsun 510 custom turns up with a splitter like a trans am racer. The ignorance of people just offends classic car owners, like myself, when we see things done wrong or that would never work. That exhaust system would not have enough backpressure to let the car run if the motor model is accurate. It's a great model don't get me wrong, but needs to be accurate just all I'm saying.
