OMG! another rubbish! is it so hard to look at the original models and do everything right? where normal lods? where the brake calipers? where the undercarriage texture? where the engine?

+1 point for a choice interesting model.

Interior credits are NFS. Also this is version 1, I'm still working on version 2
Posted on July 9, 2013 4:30AM by iiMcDermott
@ iiMcDermott, it's more like a beta version than v1.

do not forget to also lift up the camera sight. if you do not know how, then check this topic --

http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/1994-gmc-sierra-stock-f21108

bottom of the page, I described how it can be set. it is very simple.

^ Yup.

@ v1c3q4, "such low weight file" without lod_2 -- that's much worse than higher weight file (regarding optimization).

it is time to understand: optimization model does not depend on the file-size! it depends on the correct construction of the conversion (full LODs system) and the correct use of textures (applying mip-maps). this mod doesn't have any of the above. it's more harmful to your game than properly optimized modification of the size of about 2MB. besides, from a distance the car looks terrible and it lacks the important parts.

SO your rate and other 10-rates is not substantiated. don't forget: highly evaluating such rubbish you equate to the same rubbish really good modification. and it's offensive to other authors who create a well developed modification.

P.S. I wonder why, putting a low score, people need to make excuses, but those who unreasonably puts high ratings do not have to prove why they did it?
Posted on July 9, 2013 12:43PM by BubL1k
@BubL1k. The fact is nowadays ppl just want 'cars', they don't care about the details, the incompleteness, they want to have it, 'looks' great and that will be enough for them.

And since they don't care much no more, ur kind of commentturned into a hater thing and ppl started hating on u, and plus the lower rating, even worst. Even though those comments are true, they just don't give s craps abt it, cuz they all think what that car has had already satisfied them, weight of the file size

Details, door sills, engine, or even lods, are more like a jewelry, can have it or not, and that's making this mod community going downward...

And since putting efforts mean pretty much nothing on the ppl now, that's why I had removed my Apollo over here, and started taking my own away from wide public

looks great and its a low file size, thank you iiMcDermott 10/10

I do value your opinion but personally there was no need to put "OMG! another rubbish!".
Posted on July 9, 2013 3:16PM by iiMcDermott
It's nice but the wheels are too damn small, it's like a Pedal-Powered Porsche.

Great Model! My Cavalcade (high-poly Escalade) shows up all over nine30's Route 66 map, and slows down my FPS..

This will be a great replacement.

Nicely done, great filesize at 1.4k wft. I think the A-pillar should be blacked out, but otherwise looks accurate.

Now waiting for a police interceptor virsion
Posted on July 9, 2013 10:10PM by Airbus
Actually the wheels could be smaller on diameter, looking at real pic provided above and little wider.

But anyways i'm glad to see new Explorer, nice choice and yes it would be cool to have models done close to our expectations, but all we can do is point out things and hope for the best.
Posted on July 9, 2013 11:10PM by tall70
finally a ford explorer. thanks for this. i'll wait for a better version. 8/10 :D
Posted on July 10, 2013 3:11AM by mrpotsilog22
@Airbus There is already a Police Interceptor version. It's over on GPM.

I could honestly care less bout the car being "low quality", it looks good and won't cause texture loss because it doesn't have 40 billion polygons.

Nice work. 8/10.

8/10 Great model bub, but wheel thickness is poor. No suv has wheels that thin. I kninda feel like I'm a new born giraffe driving around in that thing.

hello could you tell me the name of the 4x4 that looks like this in the game ? ( the one that spawn with taxi bug )
Posted on August 16, 2013 11:29AM by xGamos91x
Car Colours don't come out right? Wheels allways have got the same colour like the car. Is their anywhere a fixed line or do I need to change everything by myself? But nevertheless a grat model, just the wheels are ugly if you look from front or rear. They're way to slim.
Posted on December 23, 2013 2:19PM by Ford-LTD
OK, I've edited the carcols line. If you wan't to have 'normaly' painted rims, just paste in this line for the car you've replaced with:

landstalker, 0,9,95, 0,9,4, 1,9,9, 6,9,63, 40,9,27, 57,9,51, 64,13,63, 85,13,118, 88,13,87, 98,13,91, 104,13,103, 2,13,63, 21,10,72, 22,10,72, 13,10,91, 19,10,93,

Greetings from Germany :)
