this car features low poly interior ONLY. actual model lod0 interior is not much improvement of this, so lod0 interior is not used, using more poly for no reason seems just silly.

the car has handling, ide, and carcol data, is livery enabled. uses paint at times too. and template is contained in the archive. if you like the car, and are a fan of racing, check out the lap timer mod by LetsPlayOrDie >>>

@twattyballs2011, the red livery isn't actually included in the download. I checked inside the .wtd, and gte_sign_2 is ok, but gte_sign_1 seems to point to the stock paintjob.. unless I'm missing something?

sign 1 is necessary. sign 2 is the blue stripey livery, the red livery is exclusive and is not yet available to the public. GTA4RMT made the skin, expect release of that in the next day or so :)

Hoping someone can give me quick help:

On some mods (including this one), I get CTD when the car windows get shot. Shooting the bodywork, or other forms of damage like car crashes and explosions work fine, but bullet hits result in CTD and "Exception Code: c0000005".

I thought it was a problem with my setup, but someone had a similar issue related to the car model itself and they fixed it:

" it seems as though zmodeler exported the model's COL files but wasn't keeping my settings on the polygons themselves, only the main file. I've now gotten it to save out the COL ID's"

I can't quote the source because it's probably against the rules. Does this make sense to anyone?

i will look into the file. all COL parts were corrected and worked fine on first export. shooting from the car and shooting at the car was also working fine too.

@twattyballs2011, I appreciate your efforts man. If it helps you any, I can melee the windows just fine from inside the car, and they break without resulting in CTD.

Problems seem isolated to just gunshots (from any weapon, from anyone), into the car's windows.

Fantastic, quick work!

The front windshield doesn't react to any gunshots -bullets just pass through the glass without collision, but that's minor. The other windows shatter correctly and it no longer crashes the game.

I spent about 40 minutes designing my own custom livery and this is now my favourite mod :)

You have a job to do research on the car that you are converting, but I always find out don't do enough of it, or just go convert the car without knowing what it is, there's full of informations on Google and YouTube, try find some before asking unnecessary question that you don't need to ask if u have done the research right

no i asked your opinion, do you think i should og just use glass to map the rear light lense. its not a unecessary question. i built the car as a direct convert. nothing special. but you questioned my modelling? RR3 created it this way not me lol i simply asked if you thought i should use clear glass... if game dev teams created models properly no studying google should be needed. call it laziness on my part if you will, but i feel i have other models what require more of my time and attention, than trying to make all of my mods receive god status.. most of my work is done for fun. the special conversions stand out from the others ((excluding my NLargo which i think a badly made shitbox)) haha

cant complain over a 5 hour convert really lol i will consider what your saying n see if i can improve it, or maybe even replace them completely, but right now i dont feel its necessary.

Seriously, I don't know why this question need to be answered anyway, i just find it ridiculous, I don't know if you really notice it, or not really, you can the red break light stood out for no reason, I know that RR3 didn't made a mistake on it in game, so it's simply some little mistake you made, but I really don't know why you can still asking about how to do with the light since you have the indicator and reversing lights right.

PS, even a game dev teams made mistakes on their works, eg Forza made a lot of incorrection on their car including Lamborghini LP560, Ferrari F40, F50, Enzo, Vanquish, z28... List go on and on, I have played RR3 b4, and I have seen some car they did it wrong. So exp tells me trust my own research rather than other people, unless you are lazy.

Nah, I just care about it because it's an Aston Martin.

ah im following now, il update the file when i have time, the model is SD and very lightweight so i guess i can drop in some forza donors without too much fuss ;)

Before researching on the model of cars, Twattyballs,.. Please look up what Conversion means.

It's our job to take a model from one game and make it work on another game, meaning that you have to do research so you know where the indicators are and how the doors open ect. Simple logic.

And Desman, is simply asking why is there a red brake light on what should be all clear/silver rear lights. It should not be red, at all, Unless under braking or the rear lights are on! and it's your responsibility to fix it. Can you do that?

It has nothing to to with SD textures or forza parts. You just don't understand Desman because your ignorant.

quite a low blow Liam ? you having a bad day? i changed them to red duer to the fact they would not light up correctly done differently. maybe i need to learn more which im willing to do but asking for specifics doesnt make me ignorant, it just means, ''whats with the rear lights'' dont explain * to me.. simple enough.

back 2 topic, you seriously think that the only way to have the lights go red is to have them textured red? Okay, you definite have never paint the mesh red in Zmodeler.

another PS:

-both sides of the car have little bad normal problems

-weird separation of the meshes makes the body of the car not smooth

-wrong scaled uv map on the tire tread

-wrong scaled uv map on the front hand light carbon

-window stickers and black glass did not act like itself

-wrong rear break light setup

-front grill is wrong if it is a without extra front lamp version, but if it is that versions, where are the lights

-official front lights are light yellow, not white

-rim is too big and no having a good texture on it

-side vent near the front wheel is carbon material not body color

didnt test the car, just by looking at videos and your screenshots

i dont know what painting meshes is :/ so yea my bad.. il definately be researching this :D

the whassup with rear lights only got me looking.. when model first recieved its materials in zmod, the light was red, so remained so.. i genuinely thought the problem was no lense glass ? i thought this was what you were hinting at lol im crap with hints.. even my partner says it.. even CAPS LOCK dont register sometimes haha

but now i know whassup i cant get onto it n solve the problem,, thanks for giving me more info DesMan - despite initially misunderstanding you, i still appreciate it so thanks man
