City Cars Mod Pack v1.0 [EFLC + 1.0.7]

*** COMPILED PACK OF CARS MADE BY OTHER AUTHORS, ALL AUTHORS CREDITED IN README ***

COMPILATION CONTAINS:
- all vehicles in one file (for simple installation)
- configuration files to make cars physics realistic
- configuration files to make traffic realistic

Cars features:
- main vehicles.img size is just 219MB (prevents taxi bug)
- most of the cars are replaced by same (original) model or similar
- only cars that are/were sold on the US market
- most of the cars are stock version
- handling.dat updated == realistic, very detailed!!!
- vehicles.ide updated (for improving traffic realism)
- carcols.dat updated
- over 90 cars
- no buggy/awful cars

Traffic features:
- cargrp.dat updated to made traffic more realistic
- popcycle.dat updated to made traffic more realistic [BETA]
- supercars appear very rarely on the streets
- traffic is now more time and location adjusted

i tried to upload a car pack once lol it didnt work for me... i added 39 extra cars (like cars that werent in game before) to gta 4 and i had all the exact acceleration times for each car and i had all cars sold in the store too. Also had a graphics addon and epm.... i tried your mod is nice i can tell you put alot of effort into it

@Locutus:

Small vehicles.img is one of the reasons why I don't have taxi bug (see my screenshots from my game). Another are: Using TrafficControlSystem [A MUST USE IT] and setting traffic intensity to 1 ingame, because modded popcycle makes traffic jam near times square anyway. NO BULLSHIT;)

Nice mod man,8/10 cuz some cars are bad,at least romans taxi...you should let the original the replace is really bad.but you did some thing great by making a mod with all cars replaced,it really helps,maybe we can expect a better version,without the bad cars?also this pack make the game a litte laggy,anyway good job mate.

Thanks boggy, if you have some lags, or feeling there is too many taxis around, you can put back the original popcycle.dat into the game, cause mine makes more cars and pedestrians at some areas at the daytime (as i wrote in description, it is still "BETA").

tryed to reinstall the popcycle.dat but still the only cars in the street are taxi and police cars. so what do i do to get adhor cars in the street then???

i also tryed 5 diffrent popcycle,the original popcycle,traffic control sistem,none resolve the taxi problem.

got to be a solution for this problem?? if we need a nother mod or tool for this please tell. i really like this mod for all the cool cars in it. but i hate only seeing only taxis and police cars in the streets.

Check if traffic control system is correctly loaded to your game (press ~). If it is (and there isn't high traffic density ingame), then most of the cars will not be taxis (like on my screenshots), which might be considered taxi bug solved (under this circumstances). Of course if you set high traffic density + some extra popcycle there will be more taxis.. In a fact there isn't any script/solution that fixes "taxi bug" completely, cause that's how gta4 "memory-optimized" spawning works. However, using this script AND low-sized models (like in my pack) works significantly.

I don't know also what game version are you using, mine is EFLC 1.1.2.0 (tested with TrafficControlSystem on this version only)

And last thing for taxi-bug;) You can also bring back original police.wft/police.wtd and taxi.wft/taxi.wtd which are key cars for gta4 spawning engine.. [but I can't imagine NYC without FordCrownVictorias ;)]

Unfortunately, there isn't any good low-sized (under 1.5MB) Ford Crown Victorias (Taxi/Police) on the web by today..

i use GTAIV 1.0.6.0 with any newer patch i cant mod anymore. My SparkIV dont work. is this (TrafficContarolSystem) a tool or a scripte??

got a scripthook i downloaded from here the first one i found at tools. and i put it inside the main GTAIV folder.

If nothing happens after pressing ~ it means you need a proper scripthook for your game version to load traffic script..

That trafficcontrol mod doesnt work for me too. It doesnt even load up, whatever i do. It just crashes the game...
