- main vehicles.img size is just 229MB (prevents taxi bug)
- most of the cars are replaced by same (original) model or similar
- only cars that are/were sold on the US market
- most of the cars are stock version
- handling.dat made to be realistic, very detailed
- vehicles.ide made to improve traffic realism
- no buggy/awful cars
- over 90 cars
Traffic features:
- supercars appear very rarely on the streets
- traffic is now more time and location adjusted
- traffic looks more realistic

-0.30 is the center of gravity, or pulling down of such. Numbers for this are usually -0.16 to -0.25 and higher depending on the vehicle i.e.: suburban might have to use -0.35.
This will help you get any car that is flipping working. It's such a waste when you don't know how to fix a car flipping over - I didn't and now I can use any one of them. Cheers fellas.
Unfortunately, I only work by trial and error with the game. I don't actually "know" which values should be which except that a smaller, lighter car e.g.: Porsche the value should be lower i.e.: -0.15. Also, each model is different made by modders, meaning I believe there is a an area in the model that is the center of gravity (unseen) which can be adjusted by using these values. Also, weight may play a big role, heavy car (first number i.e.: 1500) would mean that the center of gravity needs to go higher in number i.e.: -0.30.
Usually all you need to do is find the car that was replaced with the new mod and change the first negative number though. So, if some cars don't work in "your" installation and flip over, find the name, jot it down and alter that number. It should work no problem. :)

But I don't use this pack. The Tahoe I used was a 2007, but not sure if it's the same one. :)

It has been the only effective removal of the taxi bug whilst retaining custom cars. Plus, I really like the creator's choice of custom vehicles (not straying too much from the originals).

Sometimes mods just don't f***ing work. As you can tell, one fuckers installation works fine and one doesn't work at all. I've personally had the same problem. Add carcols, handling.dat, vehicles.ide and yet it still flips. Change the weight and center of gravity and the fuckin thing still tips. Sometimes I wonder if some mods are f***ing modelled upside down hahahaha
I HAVE NOT used this pack though so I dunno.
-Roman taxis is a freaking cadilac (he says hes poor lol doesnt make any sence)
-Habanero car : windows dont breaks
-Trucks aren`t changed
-Esperano car look REALLY cheaply made
-Enforcer (swat): unchanged (LCPD not NYPD)
-State Trooper car: emergency lights deosn`t work
-Voodoo car: roof invisible from ouside but visible inside and the tires doesn`t pop
-too much taxi and police
-Cops and taxis sometime don`t have emergency lights
-Impala car for the cops and taxis are unchanged
-Hummer: brake lights glow inside the spare rim
-Ambulance: unchanged
-I dunno the name but the same model of the FBI truck the tahoe I think is the same model has the civilian version (has the emergency lights in it but doesnt work so it look akward
Tell me back about what you think of what Ive foud. btw it works except that sometime the game have sometime problem of loading the environement and may crash

Thanks for feedback.
1) Roman taxi has been replaced to CTS-V because I made it for EFLC mostly (no Roman missions). However, you can use spark to replace it (if you play GTAIV SP).
2) Habanero is replaced by its original car - Lexus RX400h. Unfortunately, the model made by Dolmat is beta now, but except those windows/plates issues it is pretty good one.
3) Trucks (and bikes) aren't changed for a reason: replacing a lot of cars needs a lot of video memory resources, therefore this pack is balanced (replacing just passanger cars). You can add more HQ vehicles but it will make vehicles.wft bigger, increasing taxi bug and environment slow loading possibility..
4) Esperanto is not that bad and what is important - small sized model. Beside, it is popular '83 chevy impala, so fits to the NYC.
5) Enforcer (swat): unchanged - it is not very important vehicle ingame, however you can replace it with spark..
6) State Trooper car - yeah i know lights doesn't work, but its the smallest (wft size) police charger i found on the web, so put it in despite its Florida state trooper ;)
7) Vodoo - well, I think the car is OK..
8) Too much taxis/police - well, it's been written a lot about it, so just try to adjust vehicle density (assuming that TrafficControlSystem script works).
9) Emergency lights - if you want to have it then add ext_requi and ext_strong to police2 line in vehicles.ide
10) Impala Police in unchanged because model on the web has too big wft size, if you replace it you will see more police/taxis in traffic.. (I replaced only the basic NYC need: FordCrownVictoria).
11) Hummer - I think its the best Hummer on the web (considering quality + file size)
12) Ambulance unchanged - see (5).
13) I think the FBI tahoe is not bad overally (and has very small wft size, thanks to Stiopa).
14) Environment loading / Game crash - well, as I wrote above I tried to minimize risk of that by balancing number and size of vehicles ingame. The problem arise when you use Game trainer:
spawning a lot of cars and teleporting (!) to another locations may easy cause this issue. But generally playing without it is fine.
In any case, when I put this mod in and start a new game, the only cars I see are sentinel (BMW), Schaffer (Mercedes), police cars, and DAMN TAXIS. Pretty sure this is the taxi glitch. I had the traffic density set to 20 (tried 28 and 10, made no difference) and I have both C++ Redist X86 and .NET Framework 4 installed. When I press the ~ in-game (outside of the house), nothing happened and those 4 are the only cars I see...
Can anyone please help or maybe tell me how to get these fixed? It is really annoying to not be able to see other cars beside the stupid taxis...Thanks!
