Id have to disagree with the above statement. If they were really stolen do you think this guy or me would post them RIGHT Back on the same exact site they came from. If your to lazy to use the search bar and get it your self then dont go whining about them being stolen. If he STOLE them he woulda plastered his name all over the cars. All he is saying is he made a PACK of the CARS from THIS SITE basically. And reposted them as a complete package. Have you ever heard of Compiling? Its a complete package instead of a scattered one. Not that hard to understand

Installation seemed to be fine but %75 of the cars don't have a shiny finish like the replacement Lambo for the Infernus. Cars were too dated in my opinion - nice work (needs more shiny paint coat on the cars) but not really a "IV" pack.

the pack installs fine. all you're doing is replacing the vehicles.img with the modified one in this pack. you also replace your carcols.dat, handling.dat and vehicles.ide files, just like you do when installing any other mod. i'm on patch 1.0.7.0 and my game loads fine.

the only issue i have is the wanton replacement of virtually every 4-door sedan with a 2-door coupe or sports car. so i'm in the process of reverting those models back to the original or another 4-door mod.

modding 101, if you replace 4-doors with 2-doors, any mission using a specific car and requiring 4-doors will either hang or crash. so you can use this pack in its entirety if you've finished the game and have no plans to start a new one. it's definitely nice having all those files altered for you already.

but if you plan to start a new game, you're gonna need those 4-doors.

I can't believe you people are moaning about these cars being stolen and repackaged.

the original modders who "made" the cars stole the car models from games like NFS, forza etc. (which in my mind is FAR worse than what this guy has done) if it were to go to court the guy who posted this would be charged with handling stolen property,,, the original modders would be charged with actually stealing the stuff in the 1st place.

1. Dont install on any GTAIV version higher than 1.0.4.0

2. ...ALWAYS...Backup...Your FILES! How many effin times...

3. If your game is crashing after getting in game, you probably need to turn down your graphics, most mod cars use more polys and will strain your system more.

4. The only 4door car you need is the Hakumai, it's for a mission. This pack has a Supra as the Hakumai, so you'll need to change that. Download ANY 4 DOOR and install with SparkIV (only use OpenIV if you know what you're doing and have added cars before)

5.Don't download mods if you don't know what you're doing.

Works great with 1.0.7.0 - trick is you have to do one other step - after you've backed up your files and run the installer, browse to your GTA IV Dir in the root is a file called FileCheckFix.asi - delete or rename this to .bak - this file was located at C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommongrand theft auto ivGTAIV on a normal steam install on a W7 x64 system - should help you to find yours.
