Tatsuo: well, textures can be HD, since they use RESOLUTION as TV's does. so, don't try to be smart.

Imtaj: cars can be counted as HD too. well, not really, but if they're very HQ as Forza cars, we can count them as HD due to the major details (like HD, also major details). HQ is more NFS quality. :P

Posted on November 12, 2012 8:45AM by monster875
yeah sure, u're deffinenlty a better modder... or not. lol XD. dude, just stop acting like u're the best, cuz u ain't
Posted on November 12, 2012 11:19AM by monster875
dude, there's nothing wrong with the Forza meshes, the only thing there's wrong is u. Forza Studio converts the files to OBJ without issues. u just don't know what to do, so u do it all wrong XD

@Tatsuo IDK what you've been smoking, but you are obviously clueless to how Forza Studio works, and how 3D formats in general work.

OBJ 3ds carbin wft - it doesn't freaking matter, they are all the same: numbers. Vertex positions are numbers (X,Y,Z), normals are numbers, and UV coordinates are numbers.

The only difference is how they are stored together, and all Forza Studio does is convert from one format to another. But the numbers stay the same a.k.a. the OBJ is perfect copy of the original carbin model.

The so-called "warp" you think you discovered is caused by something else entirely! It's called a vertex limit, and formats that store vertex indices as int16 numbers are limited to 65536 vertices per object. Guess what, WFT is such a format.

That's why your mesh is messed up after exporting, and the simplest solution is to split such objects into smaller objects. Not that half-assed "cut -attach - delete" method of yours.

Word of advice: stop calling everyone a retard when you don;t even know the half of it. Knowing how to work with ZM and exporting a model doesn't make you a graphics expert.

And while Forza cockpit and LOD0 were never meant to be rendered together !while racing!, they were modeled to fit perfectly and ARE in fact used together when rendering photos.

If for some reason they don't match on your end, there's probably an error between the keyboard and chair...

they fit, understand it
Posted on November 12, 2012 12:48PM by monster875
lol, don't tell me stfu and then tell me to have respect. when u say i should stfu, u ain't showing any respect, KID.

also, those screens looks like u used the old version of FS which had the vertice position errors. the new FS has the fixed ones. but if u have something against the old FS version, use the new ffs XD
