It's worth a look, at least on high detail screenshots those grains sometimes kill the picture, but sometimes makes the paint interesting (like metal flakes). I will test and see if I keep it or not. I suggest everyone to see and test first, before rating.

Well the screens are not too clear, so you should indeed test it first.

Those "grains" are caused by the specular map the authors selected...

The grain is metallic! and that's why it makes the cars in GTA IV realistic, so why would you remove it? :S

great work, i really like this. i know the graininess was added to give it a more realistic feel, but in-game it just doesn't really work out for me. this seems better, thanks

I like the metallic look, it enables you to make that pearlescent paint look when you use a trainer!

This makes the cars look amazing. Much more smooth. The grain doesn't look real at all, the grain is there in real life but not as visible as the game shows it. I hope this guy can make more mods like this to make things look better!

It's a nice mod, if you don't like the grain effect, then this does the job. I use it. The grain is too 'coarse' imo (but looks great on some cars!)

If there was a grain effect that is not as coarse, so the metallic flakes were much finer (smaller grain) just sayin'... :D
