why dont you guys make a NON ELS version when making an ELS version ??!?! not everyone likes ELS....

@Buzz996 I always ask the same question. I really hate the ELS mod and I wont use it. So, all ELS does for me is rob me of some really good looking police mods, like this one for example. I understand its up to the author when it comes to how they release their work. It would be nice, however if those of us (and there are many) who don't use ELS were considered at release time.

@TheEdOne, Same feeling toward ELS. It looks cool in theory but I just don't care about all the little settings it has to offer. I would love to give this mod a go but one again, foiled by ELS! Same goes for the Ford Taurus Police cars.

I agree, a non-ELS version would be great. ELS is too involved for some of us, but for some of us like me it simply does not work for no apparent reason. This is a great car mod but having it available ONLY as ELS makes it useless for many of us. I recently removed the ELS cars from my game and all I was left were Tahoes, Impalas, CVPs and a charger (which had a fictional skin). Our options are pretty limited.

Great job as always, I hope you make an LCPD skin that is based off of the NYPD too.

@everyone The reason why people make ELS cars is because they look the most realistic, the regular emergency lights for the game just look like crap.

@gyu456 ReadTheRules didn't make the car, he just made the skin, a Russian modder named P4elkin was making a 2012 SRT-8 Charger but he hasn't released it yet.

@ZBNYNC, No contest on the the ELS lights. They do look better... when they work. Even when they do work, the mod doesn't allow for realistic damage of emergency vehicles. I'm playing Grand Theft Auto. I want to steal and blow shit up. I don't care if the lights look pretty before I set them on fire.

You people need to man up and install ELS V6. So what if the car doesn't damage when the lights are on? It's simple. TOGGLE THEM OFF FOR AI. There's a reason the best cars use ELS, it's because the IV lights are garbage. It's a simple ASI script. It's not difficult to use.

Did you fix the textures for the inside?

@The Ed One I understand where you're coming from but like PaddMadd said you can toggle the lights off for AI so that you can still blow up their cars.

@ACABaudelaire ELS stands for Emergency Lighting System, it's a script mod that gives ELS enabled emergency vehicles realistic looking lights, close to what emergency vehicles use in real life.

I agree about NON ELS unfortunately. ELS is beautiful upgrade, but i can't use it. I Don't thing it works automatically in game anyway, only if u toggle it i believe. How about ai's, does it work automatically on them? But biggest problem for me is, that by using ScriptHookDotNet.asi some rain effects gets screwed up. I like too much environment effects, so i use scripts very rarely. Probably only if i wanna play with Ambient Wars for little short time.

ELS is amazing. I like it but don't use it. I would like to try it only if the unbreakable-car-bug can be fixed. So I am still looking for some good models without ELS. What a pity!

Back to this mod. It's nice anyway.

ELS ruins cars BECAUSE:

1. Real cops in game can't use it

2. You can't damage your car

3. No extras in cars then

ok for real this car is missing critical info to run properly it dont have handling and vehicle or carcols lines whats up with that theres no way it works off the original handling line and even if it did do i have to uninstall and reinstall in order to get the lines back to the defult i hate when people upload WIP it eastes our time and yours please upload with handling!

I see 7 errors in 2 sec (color, line, NYPD, number of unit, placement of traffic enforcemment and CPR, the size of everything)
