Please explain why you're reporting this file:

[I'm not the author of any car of this pack, just a compiler. So all thanks to all of them for their work and giving permission. Car & author's list and links to their webs in an excel sheet.]

As many guys ask me, i've upgraded my 1.0 'Essential Car Pack':
Of course this 2.0 will need a little better pc than my previous 1.0, but still a 'lightweight car pack'.

The humble purpose is to HELP with the 'disappear textures' problem when using ikt's TRAFFIC LOAD or any other traffic fix.

So, it's a pack thought for low/mid-end pc's and is a compiling of the best (quality/filesize) 'balanced' cars. Almost every civilian car replaced + 7 added exotic cars, and all are low/mid poly filesize. (2 mb WFT or less, the majority of them, just a few Forza conversions a little over 3-4 mb).
If your system's got memory problems when using some mods simultaneously, IMHO this small car pack could help better than if you got all wheels replaced. I'm just looking for equilibrium, not 'maximum quality'. And maybe your system could take a breath if it can load in memory some default vehicles sometimes. The ESSENTIAL v1.0 worked for many people, you can try it if you still got memory problems.

* Replaced & added cars, as '2 complementary packs'.
* Reality, quality, variety and gameplay.
* All 4-door replaces 4-door, and etc.
* All cars look good with a good ENB (i think so).
* Famous Killatomate's 'Realistic driving & flying' included for all bikes and some other cars i didn't replace.
* Cargrp.dat & vehicles.ide tweaked for realistic traffic. (Supercars are rare).
* Real names of each replaced car (5 languages).
* Bonnet & Trunk cameras tweaked.
* Tested on version. Also another folder includes files for
* Advices & links to tutorials included in the Read_Me files.
* TLAD bikes deleted to save weight. Of course alternative 'vehicles.img' with them included.
* Extra: Lambo sound for coquette.

If this works for you, you can increase the number of cars till you find your performance equilibrium.

HIS 6850 OC 850/1160

but still game crashes says FATAL ERROR OUT OF VIDEO MEMORY when i use some high end GFX mod or a VEHICLE PACK

i expect this pack wont crash my game

Just a week ago,I discovered v1.0 and thought you should've made a 2.0 too.But I thought it were too old,maybe you were gone from the site.So,I downloaded v1.0 and upgraded it slowly with some custom cars adding/replacing.Now its 231 MB.The v1 was * good job,Jotov,but I won't be able to download and customize the v2 according to my needs all over again as it will take much time.I hope its as good as the last one.Good luck!

what to do when traffic is all same.. taxi & the car we drive appears only.. very few diversity in traffic... using Traffic load makes texture disappear

what can I do now?

i'm using 1.07 patch as handling does'nt work in 1.04 SUVs roll while turning

P.S.- i'm not using added cars

@stephenmarsh: This is the common taxi bug. You need TrafficLoad or any other traffic fix like 'RealTraffic', 'TrafficControlSystem', 'RealTrafficSpawn', etc. This pack usually works with TrafficLoad, but you'd know how to tweak it (carspercycle=10) & not to use it with Trainers too much (check Read_Me for more advices). If nothing helps, you still can try v1.0.

Handling is fine, SUV's shouldn't roll. That's because handling.dat isn't working for you. Be sure the correct folders & they aren't anti-writing locked. Or even open common/data folder. Check if there's a 'filelist.pak' and delete it & Try to install again without it.

many not similar to their real counterparts. For example Vincent should be Mitsubishi gallant. This car is very characteristic.

^I only put cars under 3-4mb and of course, cars that i got permission to use. Replace what you want.

<= Guys, i've done a new crappy video showing the pack in action. Again, thanks for your comments. Glad to see many people are using this pack along with other mods.

my suvs keeps rolling while turning :/ i am using v no added cars i copied the files directly to my gta iv file and replaced the old files there is no file called 'filelist.pak' so help please . also great work !

@berry7009: As i said in read_me, take care of which version you're using ( Use all correct xlive, dsound etc. correct for your version (Note that files come in a separate folder). You can also go to (right button) properties of your common/data folder, and unmark 'read only' checkup. Then, try to install handling.dat, vehicles.ide, etc. again.

sorry i didnt copy all the files in data lol your pack is great its the best pack i have ever downloaded i really like it but there is 1 problem i had police cars mods and i really like ur mods can you please make modded police cars ?

I know, sorry, as i said in Read_me, replacing cops & taxis brings me lags, flickerings & more posiblities of texture problems, so i decided not to replace them 'cause this pack was meant for performance. Since past GTA eras, both kind of cars are the most problematic to replace in terms of performance.

Of course you can try replacing more cars by yourself with OpenIV or Spark, and consider this pack as a 'basis'. There are many nice police mods out there. For example LCPDFR seems to work well alongside this pack.

i use lcpdfr but when i download police pack it has to replace the handling file :S and if i download cars separately i dont know how to put the handling lines i mean i copy them and past them the car still have bad handling :/

It's easy. The way to do that is open my handling.dat with notebook and change each individual line of the cop cars you replaced (police, police2, noose, etc.). New handling lines should come in the readme provided by each author.

Even some police packs like this one:[] could work without touching handling.dat. (But you know, default handling feels a bit *)

I LOVE THIS PACK!! It works great, car are beautiful with ENB, and game runs at 41 FPS. Couldnt ask for anything more!! :)

HI. Is your car pack mission friendly, i.e. can I load it after a fresh install and play all my missions with the new cars. Some car packs I have used crashes my system whenever I enter a mission, otherwise if I'm just driving it's ok.

@Conterior: Yep, i've tried to respect the nature of default cars. (4-door replaces 4-door, etc.). This pack shouldn't crash if you install it correctly (be sure your game is moddable first and take care of your patch version.)

Are there any handling changes? and i installed correctly but the mercedes (sorry im not sure which one) has two strange tan lines coming from the roof to the hood of the car, and completely rolls over when you turn the wheel. Are we expected to download our own handling scripts?

@Romansuncledan: No car should roll over, that's because handling.dat isn't working for you. Open your pc/data folder and check if you've got a 'filelist.pak' file. Delete it, install handling again and test it.

Maybe that strange lines (probably the Mercedes CLS) were extras the author of the car tried to put them as ornamentation to use the car for the wedding scenes or something. If it's that, it's not a bug or real problem. Using my vehicles.ide as schafter should avoid them to appear, or maybe only during some cutscenes, i can't remember that.

Hi guys. Long time no write. I came back to my old packs just to recommend you a taxi-bug fix called 'RIL.BudgetedIV' by NTAuthority.

For using it with this pack, you have to specify the size in bytes (without points) of the vehicles.img into the file called RILBudgeted.ini. (You can know it going to vehicles.img, righ-click/properties).

(i.e.: VehicleBudget=233142272)

If you have less than 1.5 GB VRAM, divide this number by 3.
