Yacht static object converted into boat vehicle. Lots of work was put into this. Mainly because this was my very first project and i screwed up some steps in beginning. Thats like you buy your first set of screw drivers and your first project is building nuclear submarine. Ohh well. - Rooms were added where fake windows used to be, doors are opened up, all areas accessible. Completely scratch collision model so u can walk almost everywhere, but i tried to keep it as small as possible for game stability. Opened/closed doors and windows blinds as extras. Keep in mind: on boats extras, collision don't interact with peds. So closed door will reflect bullets, but you can walk through it, unfortunately.

This version is with NO bullet holes, only glass will crack. It's either that, or model alone will be 3Mb, but bullets would show on very few places anyway, due to not enough detailed collision and lots of interior nonreflective material i want to use, which doesn't draw bullet holes. I did copy this system from" louping0's" models and since it can't do bullet holes in many places, i decide to use it to keep low size.

You can't land helicopter on it. Boat collision and heli collision don't like each other too much. Handling is purposely made so ship is not too fast and steers very slow. If you need to do sharp slow turn, use handbrake. You must change BOTH lines otherwise it will not float normally. IDE has changed flags for extras and engine sound, must be changed for extras to show correctly. Two main colors are paintable, i only used those resembling original boat.

Now SPAWNING. I include changed spawning spots. If you don't replace them, boat will spawn into objects, because it's too large. So new spawning points were created and some removed, use SparkIV to replace them. MAKE BACKUP before replacing them.

I recommend replacing TUG only, since it's not made to spawn in traffic, and all spawning locations are named to it.

---Light sources can't be linked to lighting so they don't go off with it. I will keep fixing this model and add more stuff to it. At least more window blinds and collisions detail. Replaces: TUG

Nice work, but it´s very slow :p

Also the interior isn´t looking very good, maybe you can make a version 2.0 with better interoirs?

^^ lol yea, and it's not done. Most repairs was because of poly reducing cracks. There are still plenty.

@ SkylineGTRFreak, initially Max then ZM. Both too big collision model and too big bodyshell were crashing zm export, or game. So I deleted bunch of original ship detail and had to start custom as small as possible Col. That's why I didn't bother with interior yet. If I have to I'll add some interior as misc instead adding to bodyshell and as long as collision won't kill it, it'll work. Col on any other parts then bodyshell don't work with peds.

@ doesGunz, I made it slow to simulate big ship. Speed in 1st handl. Line don't make it faster. Something else in 2nd line did. I can let u know later.

Awesome! Well done!

How about making this yacht as a static object with detailed interior parked somewhere like on pic 9 and with accessible garage and helipad. And add a savegame point somewhere inside. Just like the yacht savehouse in Test Drive Unlimited 2. That would be great.

^That sounds pretty interesting. I was always wandering why this model was so restricted as map. Thing is those interiors don't exist, except that room next to helipad. Somebody ho likes to create maps would have to have enough interest to model all that or put it together from some pieces.

I wanted really floating boat. Safe house can't be on vehicle. Hopefully someone who knows how to create safehouse on map will do it on original static Yacht for all who wants it.

Good model. Pretty much no drop in framerate, which is a great surprise! The only major problem i'm having at the moment is Niko not being able to run when onboard? Why is this?

Also, i know the yacht wouldn't go very quick in real life, but the speed in the game is just painful! It would be nice if you could quicken it up a little bit.

I'll give you a 9/10. Textures are mostly brilliant but the dials in the cabin could do with some improvement.

^ That's just something this game can't do unfortunately. Originally i had plan to be able to drive cars through back big door opening, but collision model for car or heli, which is invisible model giving it physical boundary, is not possible to use on boat same way like on land. If you try spawn little sanchez bike on top of boat, see what happens.

@ RobTheCarSpottr, Running on boat is another thing this game normally can't do. Just like you couldn't on Tug. Weirdly while aiming it will let you walk faster.

Speed of boat was dilemma for me. In my eyes it look decent this way. Faster speed was just making it more like toy, especially in turns. All other small boats are there to have fun with speed. I know speed in 1st handling line didn't get it go faster. I have to find out what it was in 2nd line and let you know here later, or you try play with numbers of 2nd line, if you don't wanna wait for me. I'm pretty busy these days.

Cabin's dash was just quick try, although more detail we give it, bigger on Mb it's gonna get.

^ yes man very pretty video and some nice texture changes.

Now if you reimport yacht in ZM, lights nodes will get kicked out of hierarchy. That's because they really street lights, they not supposed to be there, i got lucky and it works on boat. So if you want them all back, just place them somewhere next to exhaust dummies.

this ship looks big but size is very light nice even almost car mods bigger than this, i'll test it but when i patched big ship mod, it cause lag...

^ it's ICE 2.0 files for 1040 patch. I changed Ice settings for my needs and for my timecyc and keeping working on it aiming towards variety. I don't know if saturated skies or bloom is what you mean, but those things you would like can be in same time horrible to somebody else, kinda funny. ENBs/ICE are like music, everybody has it's own taste of realism or whatever they like.
