Yeah, the grips on most of these are ever so slightly too big. Unfortunately it's not fixable.

@butterhole could you make an enfield ww2 standard british issue bolt action rifle to replace the m40a1 or bolt action sniper with a scope and one without and an m1 ww2 m1 garand standard U.S. army issue semi automatic rifle to replace to psg1 and put it with no scope, so just have the 2 enfield rifles and the one m1 garand model, heres some links to help you:
